      You can't get all puppets in one run, you get one for free, one that costs 2, one that's 3 and then there's the puppet that costs 5. So while you indeed need like 10 at first, it pays to hang on to them in NG+ for the additional puppets (Loux, Dung Eater, Dolores)

      I upgraded a mace, circled them and back stabbed them. Then once they can be hit again while trying to get up, you charge attack them with a strike weapon (Mace). Repeat this once or twice to stagger then crit them, and they slowly become easier and easier to stagger and critical. I equipped the critical hits talismans to increase crit damage. Once you take out one, this process becomes exponentially easier.

    A few things worth noting. 1) Both variants of Gravity Stone can be easily farmed from the stargazer enemies (creepy guys with giant warpicks) in the crater pocked glade on the eastern plateau of the Weeping Peninsula. There's a bunch of them there and I found quite a few stones while trying to find out if you can farm their weapons (you cannot) and it's a nice alternatative if you don't have access to/aren't yet strong enough to beat the Bell Bearing Hunter in Dragonbarrow. 2) As far as I can tell, Starlight Shards are a limited resource. Yes there's many avaiable, but they're finite. They're also used for a currency when purchasing puppets from Seluvis. I've bought all I needed from him so I use the shards whenever I'm in a pinch. I use them sparingly but it would be a waste not to use them at all. And 3) Similar to Arteria Leaves, Formic Rock gathering points do not renew upon rest, they can only be collected once. However I've read that they are indeed a rare drop (also like Arteria Leaves) from giant ant enemies. I haven't experienced this myself, I don't kill anymore of those than I need to, but I've read that is the case, so hopefully Acidspray Mists don't have to be limited. Great vid! Very informative as always!

    A lot of people also missing out using the Pouches as a way to store your Flasks. As you all know, a lot of items are now viable and can be fun to use but the slots aren't that great. So I find that it is easier for me, to put the Flasks into Pouches, and the rest of the items, are now in the items slot. So I can have a lot of other stuff there without having quick access to restore HP or FP. Boom. Although I know one can argue about holding the switch item button, that'll put you at the top, but that'll delay everything else, and it only works if you put Flasks at the top and you still have to scroll carefully so that you don't mess up. I find it easier to just hold the Pouch Button and then press the other input for either HP or FP. Not needing to scroll or panic scroll.
    I use Keyboard and Mouse for this, and I use mouse scroll up and down for spells and items. So this helps me out a lot more than it should but that's probably because I am on KB&M.

      Another tip is that, you only need to hold the Pouch Button for half a second for it. You do not need the prompt to show up. I suggest trying it out a few times before the real-time action. You'll figure it out. Good luck, Tarnished.

    You can just run past the Crystalians on the the Haligtree rooftops and kill the Spiritcaller Snails that summon them, which are both located on ledges just off the rooftops. I don't think the Crystalians are worth fighting at all in that spot, though the gravity items make for a solid tip for other encounters with these enemies.

    Another super easy way to kill the Crystal guys is to back stab them and charge a power attack as soon as the animation from the back stab is done after your charged attack hits go for another back stab rinse and repeat till you poise break them generally it only takes 2-4 cycles depending on difficulty level and once they're poise broken you of course do the critical attack and they become "cracked" which lowers their defense till it's practically non existent and I promise you it's much easier than it sounds

    Bit misleading. There are only like 20 or so shards in the map, so you cannot use them consistently to restore FP. And they are also used to buy puppets from Seluvis.
    The Exalted flesh are gifted by Alexander through his quest, but honestly, these are worthy for game+, more than new game due to the Arteria Leaf availability.

    Exalted flesh isn't really an infinite resource. You only get so many Arteria leaves per play through (I think you can farm giants in the snow area, they have a chance to drop them). I don't get why From made this great crafting system but decided to make things limited. Things like Trinas lily, Aeonian Butterfly and others are rare drops and there's only so many in the world. You used be be able to farm the Aeonian Buteefly but I guess From thought,
    "Rot is too powerful with consumables, better limit the items."
    What about the rot dragon breath attacks with low stats requirements?
    Those are fine. It's those arrows and pots you gotta worry about.
    This is why I've seen a lot of people don't want to use the crafting system. The good stuff needs stuff that can't be bought or picked up in the world, some can be farmed but have low drop rates and are in pain in the ass areas like killing basilisks in the lake of rot vs using a simple spell. Which would you rather do? They should have put more bell hunters and have their bell bearings give you items after defeat. The Caelid one is harder than Radahn, add a few more tough ones and once you beat them you can buy crafting materials.

    • @KuLaydMahn
      @KuLaydMahn 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, that hunter in Caelid is actually in Dragonbarrow which is a MUCH high level area than the rest of Caelid. I'm still not sure what a good level for it is
