Me to I like ATSF Railway & i'm ATSF hugh railfan from San Bernardino County & Redlands,California where ATSF came to redlands to pick up and drop off of SFRD refrigerator ice bunk cars at redlands orange packed house in redlands & im now in Las Vegas,Nevada
Nice stuff, but I didn't know there were dash 9s in SF paint numbered in the 4000s. I thought it was all 600-somewhere in the 700s. Also, is that a GP50L trailing at about 1:55?
back in the early/mid 1990s my buddy and me went to central/western Ill. to catch these red/silver when they were new. oh what a sight.many pure lashups. plus we saw many 4 axle, something that seems not to exist anymore. as a bonus, there were lots of GP 20/30/35s. even on intermodal.
long live the ATSF! Their RS3L? Not so much. ATSF always has been and always will be my favorite railroad. Their warbonnets I've loved, same with the bluebonnets.
Awesome love santa fe
Thank you!

Where's a time machine when you need one to go back and witness that!
Santa Fe warbonnet are the truest when they still have their original Leslie rs3l horn chimes exemplified by engine number 891 in the video
I agree
Agreed.
#934, That's C41-8W! A Dash 8! Good catch there!
#891 is also a Dash 8 as well!
Thanks!
They should do a restoration type program to the old ATSF warbonnets with a new coat of paint kinda like a heritage unit
Its not a fakebonnet if it is still red and silver
I have a Santa Fe b40-8 a it is in the warbonit pant it is Dcc sound with a k5la horn it is a gem to me
