Dude, well done. You captured the spirit of adventure in this video. The narration and videography were spot on. Thanks for putting this together- it's inspiring.
Yeah, we call it Hole in the Head road. Been down it more than a few times. But the payback is worth the "washboard hell" and amazing part of the country. Great vid. Thanks for the hard work.
I did the same loop in 2016 solo adding in Fiftymile, spent 5 days taking my time. I like how you don’t give much away with the video or descriptions. Looks like you had lower lake levels than I did and Powell was 100’ below full pool. Excellent ethics, cool video.
Randomly came across this as I'm planning a kayak camping trip to Lake Powell. I've done that hike with my son. So cool to see those arches out in the middle of wherever. Thanks for the content.
Thanks! I’d like to share locations and routes, however, for trips like this, I don’t want people going out there without the proper skills. I’ve left enough hints in the video for people to be able to figure it out with some decent map skills. All four of us are pro outdoor guides with a lot of experience.
I really enjoyed your video. Your shots did a great job capturing your surroundings and the people enjoying them. Gonna make it over there one of these days! Thanks for sharing.
Excellent video! we do not get out to Utah as often as we'd like so we get there watching vids, really appreciate you making the video and i see you have more from the area hooray
Thanks for sharing! Loved watching - we did a very similar trip (maybe identical but in opposite direction) a few years back. We camped in that same canyon at the 8:xx mark, amazing!!!
that looked like the arch in Driftwood canyon. did you hike out of that canyon ? never seen water so low if it is. been boating Powell for 38 yrs, yet every trip is new. have not been out yet, wife is battling the big "C" . God bless you guy's for the love of this incredible land.luv the puppy dog !
I'm so sorry to hear about your wife... God bless you guys as well and wishing the best outcome for you. We are not sure what canyon we were in as we just looked at a map before our trip and jumped from Willow gulch (the canyon we started in) to the other canyon. Lake Powell's water level continues to drop nearly every year. It's pretty crazy. Best wishes to you! -Kate
Hi Kate and Jordan, thanks for the great video. I’m looking to plan a pack rafting trip next year to explore the same area in Escalante down the canyon and into lake Powell. I think I know how to get in based on where the arch was in the beginning of your video, but wasn’t sure about the exit point. Great channel and content btw!
That’s epic! Always wanted to do a packraft in Powell. We have a back haul set up by Page, if it doesn’t get closed by the pandemic. No idea how you hauled that much gear through there though. Backpacking gear is enough for me.
So amazingly beautiful!! Wish I were there. Hey, I met you at a gas station in Page recently, a fellow Scamp Owner. We were on our way home after exploring parts of Southern Utah. Can’t wait to go back.
This is awesome! Me and my buddy Nick made a little TH-cam video of the Antelope canyon trip you guys guided us on and it’s just crazy looking back at it. Great time, great guides. Hope you’re doing well.
How lucky to find your videos on youtube. I am planning to hike to Broken Arrow Arch in Willow Creek Canyon next month coming from the lake. I want to ask you how complicated is that stretch up to the arch? Are there hard obstacles to pass? It must be amazing to live in a place like Page. Thank you very much.
I want to go ne xt time! lol We are going to do the Glenn damn by lees fairy anglers and do a 2 day packraft and camp by horseshoe bend. Should be fun! I def want to do this though!
Great trip, great video! Thanks for sharing. Love those canyons. I'm not a fan of taking a dog that far into the wild... just makes it a little more "not wild" anymore.
Grand Staircase Escalante is one of our favorite places to backpack! What’s your favorite EPIC landscape?
Hey guys , I love your channel, the places yaw go, I'm in Augusta , GA....I'm on board , so glad I've found yaw, thanks so much!!!

The landscape is amazing! Very different from what I'm used to here in Norway.
It’s one of our favorite landscapes for sure!

Thanks! It was actually a lot lighter than you might think. The packrafts we used weight just shy of 5 pounds!
Amazing footage!
Thanks!

Thanks! It’s an awesome place to spend the summer. It’s always cool to meet people that have seen us on TH-cam.
This is such a well put-together and visually breathtaking vlog!
What was the background music? It reminded me of Lord Huron.
Looks neat!
Great photography!
Thanks!
Nice one dude, Keep It up. I'm getting my pacraft wet in about 3 weeks- can't wait!
Thanks!

Grand Staircase N.M. was born as nearly 2 million acres, and it will be again.

Amazing adventure! it would be nice if you could show a map of your route
Some places are better left unpublished. This is most certainly one of those.
Great trip, great video! Thanks for sharing. Love those canyons. I'm not a fan of taking a dog that far into the wild... just makes it a little more "not wild" anymore.
Thanks! Cinco is an adventure dog! We’ve even done a technical canyon with her where she had to do multiple rappells with her owner Max. She loves it!
I have a $300 rod and reel on the bottom of lake Powell courtesy of a wreckless jet skier who snagged my line. Let me know if you find it
😳 gear pocket in the raft wtf
