      Curve like that is already hard enough to hit. Then you have just the slightest shade of doubt that he's gonna keep throwing it so you halfway expect the fastball but he keeps throwing this perfectly placed curve

    This was a crazy good strategy.
    I hope we get to see something like it again. Imagine Degrom starting a game with his least used pitch, the curveball, and sticking with it for 2 innings and being the poor sucker who finally gets to see the 102 fb lol

    “Throw it till they hit it”. Learned this as a kid. They can take their “knowing what pitch is coming is a huge advantage for the hitter” and shove it. You still have to hit it.

    The Yankees knew what was coming and yet they could not hit the curve ball. Yet, they complain that the Astros cheated because they knew what pitch was coming. They both knew what pitch was coming but only the Astros bat were able to get wood to rubber.

      The Astros pitching was the reason why they won the 4 games in Houston, the Yankees never scored more than 1 run in any if the 4 games in Houston.

      The Yankees scored 19 runs at Yankee stadium in games 3, 4 and 5 , but when they played the 4 games in Houston, they combine for a total of 3 runs. I keep questioning why the Yankees had an outstanding offense at home, but in Houston they were terrible?

    I was In the Crawford boxes that game 7 when gattis cracked the line drive Homer it rose the whole way to the wall and I swear that night mcullers threw 28 curveballs I was tracking pitches.... may be wrong

    I always love seeing the Astros win, but it's an even bigger treat when I get to watch Lance pitch because it's such a nice view for us gals. I haven't seen all the backsides of all the pitchers in MLB, but it's hard to imagine a better one than Lance's. He'll be out this season after having Tommy John surgery, so I may have to come back and visit this video a few times until next year when he's back on the mound.

    Aaron Judge at the end looks scary as fuck. He seems like one of those that has a nice guy persona that seemed a little bit too nice only to hide the monstrous killer rage inside.
    Like a nice, friendly guy in the community that is always willing to help and everybody likes him but one day you ask him to help you out with some backyard patio construction... During a nice friendly conversation, you happen to mention something that would set him off.     I didn't create the pitch he's using but I Uncovered and Rediscovered it before Lance and the Astros used it.
    Pitcher's, today's your lucky day. You can now throw it like Lance.
    Grip it like a 2 or 4 seam fastball on label, throw it like a football, Stiff wrist all the way down.
    Over the top it will drop 3 Feet, 3/4 slot it will SWEEP 3 feet!
    My video before the Astros used this slider, is called, Carlton slider. Dated October 2016, Brent Strom and Astros used it after that date. If he knew about it before, he would have used it in 2016.
