With regards to Lady Danbury, I get the impression Marcus prevented her from escaping her arranged marriage to the eventual Lord Danbury. We know from QC that Lady Danbury had a miserable marriage. Marcus was only 10, so he wouldn't know the implications of snitching to their father.

Benedict was not actually involved with a man previously, but he has been exposed to the idea of men loving other men in season 1. Also I'm pretty sure if a character is confirmed to be queer, they're no longer queer-coded--so people just mean that they had suspicions that Benedict was queer in previous seasons.

I was thinking the same thing when Lady Featherington was eavesdropping on Colin and Penelope at the beginning of the episode 😂 I am enjoying all the drama. The book is different but I'm kinda enjoying the changes. Its like we get 2 versions of the same story. And this 2nd half of Season 3 is all the drama we can handle. I think Penelope should have told Colin sooner but things were happening so fast. Then she decided not to tell him. But when he walked up on her I was like Damn, you caught now. Great acting by Luke and Nicola and story by the writers . I was not expecting this much drama even though I read the book. 😊 So glad Lady Bridgerton has someone courting her. I would love for her to have a scandalous affair😂

They were always able to meet unchaperoned before and now all of a sudden it's impossible for them to find a moment to talk so Pen can tell him the truth? Bullshit. I also don't like how their fight develops from here on/ the way it's shown on in the next episodes. We see more of Colin sulking than them trying to figure it out. They act like Daphne and Simon in season one - but they're supposed to be old friends who know each other and know how to talk. I'm sorry, I don't know if it's the edit or not but I just don't feel their chemistry anymore from here & everything seems badly written and incoherent. I'm annoyed. Nobody needs to agree with me, I'm happy for you if you like it. I just needed to vent.
