NEW CS2 UPDATE should arrive Tonight!
CS2 is stale its honestly lost so much from 'GO' , they need to bring some big things and attract old/new players back and keep the current freshly entertained for a while because it is currently Okay but wrose than 'GO' and is stale .
@@SKYGNCS2 steam db package updates
you lied
I didn’t realize the CS community was suffering in the same way the TF2 community was… why have we not join forces?!?!
Because they're not, they still get updates but as they're not weekly they whine and whine.
It already happened before when Half life 2 ep 2 ended fans when insane (Because the biggest cliffhanger ever) the protest to the Valve HQ and messages (Alot)demand gaben to make the sequel immediately but nothing happens
@@ImprovedCameraman because that's dumb
Team based ability shooters aren’t the hype anymore
I mean they are for some people, ca isn't hype for some people too but we still play that
creating a new game witout fixing the other is like shiting and standing up without cleaning.
I just did that just now
@@tnolentin congrats! now u are considered a developer.
Id prefer tf2 on source 2 and more updates.
deadlock is tf3 on source 2. be happy!
@@LANLAMPAN No.
This is such an easy thing to say as a consumer. The effort it would take to convert all the spaghetti to S2 is more than it would to develop a new and fresh IP which can widen their portfolio.
@@bl_sonic3288 valve doesn't need to widen any portfolios lmao what are you smoking kiddo. They would be importing assets and editing them. They would write new code to work on source 2 for the game. Not deal with the old engines spaghetti code. You don't know what you're on about
@@chandude3 It's a business, of course they need new projects and IPs to keep investors happy. Porting TF2, while it sounds great, would be a lot of effort for not a lot of return. The ability to create and feedback loop from a fresh new subcommunity is something TF2S2 would not give. I'm also sure the devs are much happier working on something fresh. My guess is you have never ran a business that has done 1MM revs, and never maintained any software longer than 5 years. Your perspective stems from a consumer perspective. These things are easy to say as a consumer, hard to do as a business. Such is capitalism, you have to follow the dollars.
Honestly i think 99% of CS players aren't interested in Deadlock (as its been leaked/described so far), at least not as a replacement for CS. This kind of seems like one of Valve's rare big misses. They started development 6 years ago when big hits like Overwatch were still super popular, but they've been outdone since then. Valorant players arent gonna go over to Deadlock, and CS players arent either, so who is even the game for?
"rare big misses" are you joking? the past 2 games they released were artifact and half life alyx LMAO and they havent released a game people could even argue as "good" since dota 2 came out
@@karime2800 half life alyx was a great game though
For people that like mobas, rts and shooters
It’s supposed to replace overwatch I believe, from the looks of it. It’s like a 3rd person 6v6 moba. A lot of people forget but overwatch was and still is titled as a moba/fps. Also if this started 6 years ago it would check out. With overwatch popularity and how marvel/disney is making the same game with a marvel theme…
@@brylzy epic games already tried 3rd person moba with paragon and look how that turned out
Jumping on the hero shooter band wagon is just dumb and I couldn't careless about playing yet another game like overwatch. Give me some more maps, guns, anything for cs2. You just released this big ol fresh new game and here it is, sitting with not a lot going on, seems like a terrible time to release another multiplayer shooter.
Pls no new guns to CS2... Valve always gets the balance wrong.
Dude Valve literally made the Hero Shooter genre with Team Fortress 2
cs2 is their passion project this one too. think about how much money this make compare to their store. i figure they did this just a passion project and to not forget how to actually make a game. cos if u stop doing something for a while you will forget.
they only make game just cos they can. not because they need to. valve money is on the store not the game they make. the make 30% of all the game sold on steam. if you add 3 of the top game you already made as much of 1 top game. and theres ALOT of game on steam. if u want them to actually make good game. ull need to stop using any of their service and force them to actually make something which is hardly possible looking from how big steam store is rn.
Yeah. When they hopped on the card game band wagon it was a flop. I don't think this new game is looking very interesting. We'll see I guess but I just wish they would do something with L4D if they were going to do something new.
@@Jack-c6z news flash artifact flopped due to its monetization, almost everyone that actually played the game thought the design was top notch
bruh... i dont even want a new game, just make cs2 fun... add an operation, new maps/weapons, danger zone, optimizations, anticheat... valve has its priorities mixed up 🤦🏼♂
I miss operation
I Miss Coop Community map
And danger Zone privat Game would be fun too
Also removing farming bots
How can one man be this clueless
Maybe you were not the target audience
Theres a huge negative about this tho...
Typically when a game tries to be all of those combined it will be subpar in every category. That being said it could be very bland..
From new gameplay just seems like tf2 on s2 but cracked out
We don't need DOTA Fortress GO, we need DOTA2, TF2 and CS2 fixed...
fortnait fortnaite
Hero shooters are dead right now. Overwatch just oversaturated that genre and Valve already have a hero shooter with TF2!!!!!!
valve started hero shooters, remember that.
nobody hates valve more than their own fans
Can confirm
I think for the majority of players, they don’t hate valve rather are just pissed off at false promises and want the most basic things from a game company such as communication with great potential, final products and who makes a billion a year from cs cases alone.
THIS WHOLE VIDEO SAID LITERALLY NOTHING BRO
tf2 didn't lose support because it was outdated, it was because Valve rushed out Meet your match too early in an attempt to compete with Overwatch. They received plenty of helpful feedback from pros and influential figures and didn't really act on any of that. If tf2 was properly updated it would probably regain a good chunk of the old playerbase.
Instead of making a new game they should fix their games and finish the anti cheat they have been talking about for years
This feels like counter strike at its lowers (Years ago ) when people conplaineds about the problem with counter strike and the most controversial version of it
Hero shooters all have 'Power Creep' where every new character has to be stronger than the last ones. This makes the balancing get worse over time, and it's why I dislike the genre.
We should all cheat in deadlock to make it unplayable and flop if they dont want to listen to they moneu
I can get behind this
the reason tf2 is dying is the bot crisis, not (just) the lack of updates
no pls no deadlock
they left tf2 to die.
It's been 17 years, get over it
@@somebodyanonymous5725 NOPE
Is there still making money off of it they need to fix their game. @@somebodyanonymous5725
@@somebodyanonymous5725 So? It's a commerical product. There are still a couple hundred thousand people at minimum who enjoy it. It still makes millions every month just on the 30% commission on the marketplace. They still keep adding new things to sell ingame. Why should the age matter?
Any real game studio would either keep that train going as long as they could.
They have a handheld console now so I think valve needs a competitive game that can be played with controller. I think it would be interesting to see.
game will be full of cheaters in a week what’s the point ?
dude ignored the bot crisis for tf2 and CS2
I would love a new franchise, and in theory, deadlock sounds fun. Hearing about the original design philosophy of the game sounded great, but with the change in visual design, this looks horrendous.
This looks great in my opinion. LA Noire 1920s meets some form of futurism appeals a lot to me
Wait till the cheaters and bots come in, rendering the game unplayable, and Valve abandons it.
It happens alot, You get used to it.
I hope deadlock flop so they can put more effort into cs ,nothing new, broken skins, no effort into majors , same stickers every major same old shit over and over and at the same time they are greedy asf.
Fixing a game that everybody love
Valve just release DangerZone again, so i can be happy.!
TF2 is the new Day of Defeat source, and CS2 will then be the new TF2 in a decade prob, as in terms of Valve giving a damn.
big ass RIP.
Remember " Artifact " ? The most hyped adversary for hearthstone that turned out to be a complete trainwreck? Yes , 1 more trainwreck should help Valve understand that their biggest money grab is still CS and DOTA 2 , they already have servers , all they need is a proper anticheat, more content and a little bit of polishing to get more income from them. Karma works in wonderous ways Gaben, ignore your community cries and face their wrath of complete boycott
Who the hell is interested in this game? Genuine question. I sure as hell am not
i'm gonna at least try it cause i'm not closeminded and dismissive of a game that isn't even out yet
@@s_callahan Not to mention just how disgusting modern shooters have felt to play recently... Knowing VALVe's track record with shooters, it's going to at least feel FUN to play, even if the objectives aren't necessarily my cup of tea
@@ToxycBanana ye, i hope they'll learn lessons for stuff to do w tf2 after they're done having their hands full w deadlock
I am, the space in these hero shooters is about to be super competitive. I think Marvel has a chance too.
Valve with Tf2 in a nutshell 4:38
Bad move in my opinion, but who gives a fuck? I'm trying to buy food.
man I really hate mobas why they have to make it a moba have anyone ever met someone who enjoy a moba?
It's nice to get a new game, it'll keep things fresh and fun
Why is valve so desperate to birth a new ip when they’ve got multiple other successful ones.
That's the thing, they aren't desperate. If they were, Deadlock would still be Neon Prime and it would've been fully released today.
Deadlock right now is really fun, but still undercooked.
No. You won't be abandoned. You just got a new game in 2023. You can't compare that to TF2, a game from 2007.
Fun fact, CS2 is made in 2023, and is currently experiencing the same problems as TF2. Give it 3 years or so then it would become TF2.
CS2 already has bots, cheaters, and Valves lack of support. I expect the new game to be the same
Still in the oven, but I can smell a hit already.
Love you man, only decent one left imo
Man i never had fun in cs2

Nice video, I’m looking forward to trying their next game.
This some BS!
People are just dumb, those deadlock reactions just prove it.
This game can actually be great, for multiple reasons :
- It is not really competing with valve's other games (maybe only tf2, which is abandoned already anyways) , it is aiming towards a different and new crowd, expanding its portoflio in different genres
-This blend of MOBA elements with a shooter is not actually common. Games like Paragon/Predecessor , Smite have nothing on the shooter aspect, and are very much traditional mobas with a 3rd person view. Deadlock looks much much less traditional with its own unique twists. Only close game I can think of would be Super Monday Night Combart, but its again, also much different.
-This might be the ONLY Valve Game that can be played well and smoothly BOTH ON PC AND STEAM DECK. But also with controllers. Just imagine enjoying cs2, dota2 with controllers/steam deck : IMPOSSIBLE. People need a competitive multiplayer game playable on the Steam Deck
-The true power of this game made by Valve when comparing it to any other non-valve game which has even a small element in common is the WORKSHOP AND COMMUNITY FEATURES. Just imagine an overwatch where you can make your own fucking assets , game modes, maps, trading system, all extra experiences that give are a BIG reason for counter strike's popularity in the first place. The Valve factor can honestly be a game changer in ANY game they decide to make in comparison to many other developers, specifically because of this type of community infrastructure. (Lets remember that Dota2 has many of these things as well, so there is no reason to think that Deadlock wont).
- This moba meets shooter dynamic will probably be their main game mode, but this type of game and character design looks like it can be very versatile for many other modes. Some modes like king of the hill , payload, capture points, single lane brawl mode, etc.... This game by design looks like it lends itself well for all these modes and some more. And lets not forget the community factor I talked about earlier.
Please valve fans: impossible. Seriously, it looks okay, everyone’s gotta complain about something though.
oh i am early
cs2 fans are unbearable.
