Fertilizing high tier crops takes their 2 day growth cycle and cuts it to just barely under 1 day. I know this because I've done the planting, watering, and fertilizing right after "midnight" in game and I was harvesting around 11:30 that same evening. So just barely under. Really worth it in my opinion only because it allows you a small window to harvest them taking away any risk of tape bots tagging them into oblivion.

It all depends on the type of recording (analogue or digital) and the codices supported by your editor. With digital formats, the gamma data is recorded alongside RGB values, brightness, etc, so adjusting any of these can usually be done in post. If you'd turned down the gamma for the 1st night the topic was raised, then you might have been able to restore some of the 'bleed out' you had from adjusting it in-game, to achieve a look similar to that you had for the 2nd night - which, as the edit clearly shows, produced a better result (rich colour, brighter lighting). But you are absolutely correct - it only works during non-business hours as business hours are reserved on the cloud for MSM and Hollywood editors 🤣

Glue is basically any wet polymer or monomer solution for ease of application that then dries or hardens to hold stuff in place. Animal glue is disolved cartilage in hot water and can easily reactivated with warm water, it's mostly used in art conservation now
If you hold E then you pick up stuff the same speed as holding mouse click, and you won’t pick up plots accidentally, very convenient for large harvests

in post adjusting gamma does work but you are right there needs to be some pixel data stored so if it is a completly pitch black screen then no it wont give you anything it'll just make it gray instead of black. However if there is even the smallest amount of colour data then you can adjust gamma, brightness and contrast to get a viewable video from an incrediby dark video

With the bass defence, ive just used a wall of saw blades spinning linked to a maxed controller. It's expensive but hay and tot bots can't break the defence wall or even damage it

Hey kan, have you ever looked into changing the actual light values for nighttime in the game files? It's really easy to do, and while it can be considered cheaty, if you're already changing your gamma and everything, this would be a much better approach for both you and us. Open the survival_constants.lua file in "Scrap Mechanic\Survival\Scripts\game" with notepad or something and search for the line with the DAYLIGHT_LIGHTING_VALUES property. Replace that entire line with this: DAYCYCLE_LIGHTING_VALUES = { 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 0.5, 0.2, 0.1 } This just changes how "dark" nighttime actually gets and should be a whole lot more bearable to look at. You can change the values to change how dark it actually gets (nighttime normally is 0 for reference).
Elmer's glue is not made from horses today. It used to be made from horses but today they are made from synthetic materials. The ingredient mix is secret but they have specifically stated that they do not use animal collagen anymore.
Maybe you could build a scarp metal farm outside your home so in doesn't lag. Just a mini farm with a lot of defences an you go there just to do the raid and collect the scrap metal components, etc.

The spudling gun does less damage (according to Scrapman) and the shotgun does more damage (according to Scrapman) in a single shot

I have a fuelcan (not container) placed on every vehicle and a stack of spuds placed next to every bed. you should do that too, it's a good habit

This just changes how "dark" nighttime actually gets and should be a whole lot more bearable to look at. You can change the values to change how dark it actually gets (nighttime normally is 0 for reference).
