- With an airlift system, super biochemical sponge filter features silent operation and has an excellent filtering effect while oxygenating the water. The specially developed foam materials support the colonization of bacteria, allowing for mechanical and biological filtration, which will break down harmful ammonia and nitrite material resulting in a cleaner living environment for your fish. Particularly useful as a breeding filter or as a secondary filter. It will reduce noise from the air pump and consumes low wattage. Most fit external or top filters as a pre-filtration unit. No dead spots in cylinder foam offering full filtration.

Its so obvious who would have thought it. Been racking my brain for months. I'm definitely going to do this. Thanks.
yes as fish keep i just learn this about 6 month ago.. breeders secret!
Can you explain more? Is it a good filter? Normally with air supply the water passes slowly into this filter and this is very good for biological filter. However not very good as a mechanical filter. In this case what happens? Will the filter suck in more particulates but will it clog up much more often? Will the bacteria be able to establish themselves?
Does it work properly
yes it does! this is must do for fish keeper!
