Greg, please, never stop making videos about liminal space and empty rooms. It's always a good feeling to just lay in bed after a rainy day and watch a new uploaded video on your channel. I really missed another liminal space video, so thanks for making my wish true. Your vibe is amazing.
Right?? I feel like I'm losing my mind over here! They're always super exposed, like you said, minimal coverage, semi/very busy (multiple other people there for some reason), and/or halfway lit (i.e. half of the lights are burned out or just don't work, making the lighting poor and adding an even creepier/unsettling vibe to the dream).
I do too, very exposed and where both genders are mixed. Also, very dirty! Like toilets or clogged or overflowed, wet floors, just unclean. Always full of people, the doors are opened and the stall walls are so low… so weird this dream is common lol
@@catlover5656 Same! I heard somewhere that this is a very common dream and is linked to high levels of anxiety and/or self-consciousness. Weird correlation, but it kind of makes sense?
I always get this too??? I have anxiety and hearing it be linked to that actually makes a lot more sense lmao. It would be in the busiest spots either having super low walls or just completely exposed and I would feel SO uncomfortable in those dreams😭😭
6:30 I think the thing that unsettles me so much about spaces like this is there being a big indoor space with no natural light. It feels so weird to have that much space but not a single window, not even a sky light.
@@plumdutchess Oh I missed that part! That's a relief, I thought they were just bright fluorescent lights, which they kinda look like they are. That unsettled me a bit!
The sign over the door at 10:56 says "tilfluktsrom" which is air raid shelter in Norwegian, and as a Norwegian who has gone to several schools that were built during the cold war, can confirm these rooms often have been repurposed to be used for other things. My elementary school has one that is just filled with pretty much all the stuff they can't fit other places. My friend who works there sent me pictures a while back as they were looking through the junk down there and she found pictures of us when we were kids. That was a special kind of eerie.
@@michaelnichols9557 Hahaha, yeah! I suppose at this point we could just call them that too, but a lot of places still have the signs up, which is why it stood out to me.
For the record, I have no idea why, but I'm subscribed and I watch every video you do, and I really don't mind when you go outside and do something different. I like your vibe. So keep doing whatever you feel like, it's cool.
Greg , we LOVE the liminal space videos , PLEASE never stop with the Liminal space videos . Its SO nice to have a youtuber that reviews and is interested in liminal spaces.
Yo man, even if those videos of you doing real stuff outside aren't as popular, just keep on doing what you like. You don't have to be stuffed in a small box where you react to subreddit material. I mean, I like that shit too but mixing it up to your taste is great
i've been to that little fake street in the science and industry museum and it's always dim like that, like it's pretending to be nighttime. also whenever i've been there there's almost no one else there in that part and if there are people everyone's weirdly quiet, maybe because it's echoey and everyone can hear you. strange vibes, man. and yes, i have seen that toilet in my dreams.
yeah lighting can play a huge role in liminal spaces, from the lighting that makes the creepy ones creepy to the ones that just look fake because the sunlight is so "perfect" etc. interesting stuff
I started watching you for your thallassaphobia (I think I spelled that wrong, heh) videos and stuck around after because I love your content and how you deliver it. Thanks for some awesome videos, I hope you continue for a long time. :)
I feel like liminal spaces are the uncanny valley for buildings. Places that should feel familiar but oddly don't. It doesn't even feel like humans built this places because you just can't make sense of the purpose of these buildings.
Your videos are so chill that I think anyone would enjoy watching them. You just make stuff you wanna make, which shows you can do what you love and be happy, and that's super inspiring. Even my parents, who don't care for TH-cam (or "The TH-cam" as they call it, lol), actually choose to watch your videos when I turn on the TV. You're definitely doing something right, bro, lol.
i can say with certainty i am addicted to your liminal / weird / dream core videos and i crave more. ive even requested it a few times so im happy to see this upload!
OMG the toilet one made me feel like I wasn't alone. I have had dreams more than once where I was in a bathroom sitting on a toilet and you could literally see other toilets all around me, or the walls around them only came up to the middle part of my torso. SUPER WEIRD that others have had the same
I love your liminal space videos, they are always good, because you don't make too many of them. I enjoy all of your content! You have an awesome personality, keep up the good work!

The Twister Room is a space inside the TWA Hotel in New York, it's the TWA terminal that was built in 1962, the whole space has no right angles. It was converted into a hotel in 2019. It's a fun place to stay the night.

(I really like this one btw) I also really liked Greg in the Wild going around taking pictures or doing vlogs. (And getting lost in the desert lol)
Greg is thought i was tweaking when i heard you say happy birthday at the end if the video. @2:50 that trippy hallway in the college almost looked like it had a mirror at the end of the hallway. But no, damn its so art deco. I love it. Almost like fun house vibes. Trippy af for sure.
Those last few "fake city" spaces reminded me SO much of school field trips I'd go on! You should look at the Blue Springs School of Economics and Kaleidoscope around the Kansas City, MO area. They're also very liminal.

Whenever my family and I go on a trip and pass through windmills, my dad makes fun of my mom (named Joy) and says things like "Joy, we're coming for you" in an alien-sounding voice to the point where my sister and I would start laughing hysterically. She has always been creeped out by those big windmills and never liked being too close to them, ever. I love these liminal space videos. I take pictures of some on my own. Also, don't think that video of you walking around taking liminal space pictures wasn't as good as the videos like this current one, cause it surely was great to me. 💜💜💜
Hey Greg! I'm sure you wont see this... But three things... One, I always love your content. Not exactly liminal but the “driving through a dreamlike place” one reminded me of this: a couple years ago my family took a road trip to Yellowstone & Grand Teton. One night we were driving through the mountains after the sun had gone down but before all the light had left the sky. We must have been at a pretty high elevation because it was 30 degrees and snowing in the middle of September. I was glued to the windows, watching the scenery pass by, and then the landscape just opened up out in front of us and I could see out across these plains for miles, with the remnants of a sunset lighting everything purple and orange. I just remember being in awe of my surroundings at that moment, in the middle of gorgeous, rugged nowhere at twilight with the snow softly falling and my similarly awestruck family with me to share in the experience.
