I have to have a flat roof redone. Whats the sequence of layers i should expect. Im in the northeast and they want to do a peel and stick. I prefer a torch down. Im binge watching your videos.
peel and stick is becoming more popular unfortunately as people are scared of fire. If done properly it should be a decent roof. Torch-on roofing typically consists of a 2 ply membrane, base sheet and cap sheet, either directly over roof deck or onto of rooftop insulation which would then have vapor barrier installed first.
