it’s frustrating and funny that koenji was the only one capable of solving the last mental math problem, while the others stopped being able to solve them even a few questions ago and only solved the last one because of the captains. If bro took it seriously class C could’ve won then and there
So the mental arithmetic test was about the addition of all numbers in a sequence that are flashed and shown only once. One way people get good at this is by using an imaginary abacus and moving their fingers along, since the way the abacus works allows for quick additions and subtractions (counting). Also, at 5:00, you can see the Class C girl Matsushita give a weird look at the score board because she saw Ayanokoji get the last question right, raising her suspicion on his true abilities. Maybe Koji chose koenji so they lose the match so they get class A's choice next, in hopes of getting chess
Why didn't Sudo start? Why was the guy with the gloves holding back? I guess when 2 geniuses are the coaches they completely over-thought how to win. Just clear out for Sudo, that's all Class C needed to do to win.
My guess if they wanted Sudo fresh while everyone else was tired. The other guy probably held back as some strategy to get under Sudo and make him fold since he used to be mentally weak
Cus they dont know what other events might be picked. sudou isnt only good at basketball
Since the classes don't know what events will be chosen, Class C wanted to keep Sudo as an ace in the hole since he is one of the most athletically gifted and don't want to carelessly waste him on an event if Class C can win without using their best students.
Wonder how long we gotta wait till koenji gets humbled
One day the whole class will just jump his ass lol
Here's the summary of the chess game: that last move by the chairman was ass. Horikita would lose in 3 moves at most by checkmate.
I love chess, so this episode was pretty fun to watch
I never noticed but why is the background a year 2 photo😭😭
"I find the lore the most interesting thing part of this episode cause i don't understand chess."
As someone who does it made them seem a bit less impressive especially the final board.

CLASSROOM! of the elite 👆🏾
The author of this has probably never played chess before in his life and it shows. xD
im wondering if it was the author or lerche
I learnt through some other comments that Japan has never even had a chess Grand Master ever. They all play Shogi.
@@luisdanielvega99 don't care which it actually was (though I did see a comment saying that the author outright admitted it after this released in the LN), they still could've done actual research beforehand imo
The match seemed pretty legit to me, idk tho
They were gasping and confused at such obvious moves
