      They’re super handy! Got them for a local stainless steel supplier in Moorabbin.

    Great vids mate. Really enjoyed this one. I really like your approach on this build. Having a crack yourself but also being realistic and getting help when/if you need it.asyou mentioned you could probably do most yourself but I think in order to keep motivated you need to be able to manage your time which is saved by enlisting help from the right people. Really enjoying this series. Cheers

      Hi Paul, I’m looking at the rules as I go. I’m sure I’ll get pulled up on a few things but I’ll just fix them up!

    Firstly, thankyou for your work and passion/curiosity; secondly, can you ballpark cost just the barra insert cost?

    • @DesignedandBuilt
      @DesignedandBuilt  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Mate, if you're doing all the work yourself I would say between 13-20K depending on how you did it. I haven't opted for the cheapest path at all but I'm trying to build something that will last.

    I have my cert 3 in welding, but really want to do some more welding. What welder what you get if you could only have one?

    • @DesignedandBuilt
      @DesignedandBuilt  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think I would stick with an AC DC Tig as it can do everything well. That said if you’re only going to do steel then there is no need for the AC part of it. I have 200 amp unimig machine and it works really well but I’ve had to pick up a a MIG for all the thicker gauge steel chassis work I have to do.

      If the pipes are perfectly touching then there is no need, if there was a gap then it would have been required.
