Too much spit , emotional outburst. This may not be the principal reason for returning. This only an excuse to prove the point. The country mentioned in here are failed states . This is the point conservatives make when they speak on dangers of immigration. There are some serious lapses in Trudeau."s policies which need to be given immediate attention. In my view India will going in the directions of depressed State - imploding population growth, huge unemployment, decreasing growth rate, decling rupees, decling export quality, social tensions, environmental stress and on the top of everything thing burgeoning debts and huge debt servicing ration. Canada is far better on these counts. So we need to be reasonable and realistic.
I went to TN, Canada in 2015 to pursue my post grads from a top university and learnt very quickly that getting a job in my field, while not impossible, would take a lot of time and money and still wasn't assured. Even my white local friends were themselves floundering in the markets for 5-8 years without a permanent position. Also, I worked at a few desi stores for the initial months and realised that it is Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi store/restaurant-owners that exploit desi kids THE MOST, they think Canada is like the country they left behind and they can carry out their feudal practices in Canada freely. Find a job at a white store like Loblaws or Metro and maybe do some constructions gigs on the side, STAY AWAY from desi stores. I left Canada and came back to India in 2018 and haven’t regretted the decision yet.
Some desi stores may be mistreating its employees, but remember it's DESI people who provide 1000's of jobs in small business, If there is 1 business owned by main stream man there are 1000 businesses owned and run by desi people.
Same experience. When I came to Canada from Hyderabad, India in 2019, i felt like coming from a developed nation to a underdeveloped poor nation. The funny part is I still feel the same to this date. What kind of a mess most of the residents are living in.😂😂😂

My short story both IT background Husband landed in Canada from his company - March 2023 I landed in Canada - Sept 2023 (left good package job in India) Started job hunt immediately after landing. Applied 600+ applications, gave only 3 interviews- all cleared first round, but filtered out in second round just because I don’t have Canada experience. Salary they offer is less for your experience, they say directly, you don’t have canada experience, so can’t give market salary.Even after telling that I’ve worked with Canadian and US clients from India. Still didn’t select- all 3 rejected. Don’t move if you meet the below, 1. >1lakh earning per month in India. 2. If salary in canada is 5k $ per month for two people (without car). Even 6k is not sufficient. 3. You are foodie. Nothing tastes like India even if you prepare. 4. Family attachment 5. Medical issues 6. Maid ( you have to do everything here) (including furniture set up) 7. Thinking of saving the money in Canada 8. Car is necessary here and expensive 9. Real living expenses is expensive. Many more. And the list goes on. Conclusion- going back to India in December 2023. I know I will get job if I wait here, still don’t want to live here. Just that before getting trapped here, moving back to India immediately.

I can totally relate to this man! Me and my toddler came to Canada in March 2023 to Calgary. My husband came last year on a work visa. I have come on an open work permit. I have 10 years of experience in Digital marketing back in India. It's been 8 months since I have not got a single job. I am still okay starting with an entry level job in my field which I am not getting and the survival job I get rejected because I am overqualified. Honestly if you are moving to a developed country for the betterment of life then you don't want to do a survival or labour job. Especially if you have that kind of experience. I feel if you are a couple and your household income per month is 2lac then don't move.
If I have completed my master's in india, and then complete the pg diploma in canada. Then I will be considered as overqualified ? I mean, some people say that it's an advantage......and you have experienced that they will not hire you because you are overqualified ..... Can you explain
Canada does not digital marketing professionals. Either return or work hard and smart to address the labour market gap in Canada. Canada does not owe you anything
In 2018, I wrote IELTS for Canadian immigration . I was already living in usa for 14 years but there was no scope for green card due to backlog and due to TRump admin, being on h1b was getting difficult … Thank GOd , I did not clear the cut off points for Canadian PR due to age .. come covid … US family based immigration stopped and because of the fall over of green card from family quota to employment based GC quota , I received my American PR in 2021 … after 17 years of being in the us … As soon as got GC , life quickly changed for the better … another of my friend immigrated to Canada from America after being in usa for more than 10years back in 2016 … he has a good job and house there but he is so unhappy that he left usa… he even missed out on the American green card cause he left early . God saved me 🙏
Yes God created earth and human created countries; borders and immigration.............................God didnt saved you. God dont control your Greencard or US citizenship chomu......................lol
You were lucky but if Covid didn’t happen, you would have not gc. Think through and answer would you have move to Canada or regret not moving to Canada if you are still on h1b?

Those students can never be able to get a PR if they apply through the regular PR route. They allow themselves to be cashcows for the community colleges as they will get a PR after 2 years of mediocre study and 3 years of survival jobs.No skills, no ambition to study and build a career.
As an immigrant who has lived in Canada for 30 years, i can see that the landscape has changed. The guests honestly shared there experiences and challenges. As mentioned International students should come equipped with living expenses for 4-6 months.Getting the first job is challenging and their first priority is their studies.
So true, everything is bad in Canada. I was working with good company on managerial position. Left my job paid 30 lakhs to fucking agent for LMIA. Was told i will get a job but later asked to find one. I worked as a labour, health care is worst. Came back to India within 2 months and happy to be with my family. Please think before going to CANADA. Don’t waste your and your family hard earned money…🙏🙏🙏
What is the benefit of coming to Canada now? When Canada opened up in the seventies, there were many advantages to coming to Canada. Back then there was a lot of work in the lumber industry in western Canada and big factories in eastern Canada. In those days, if you were willing to do any work, you would get a job within 8-10 days. In 1990, a bachelor apartment went for $500 a month and a one-bedroom was $600 a month. Almost all would get their 3-4 bedroom house within 10 years. Groceries used to be so cheap that $200 a month could support the entire family. The telephone bill was $10 per month. A Vancouver-Toronto bus ticket was only $100. School education was good, children had to give exams. It used to be very easy to see a doctor. Buses were less crowded. Now the standard of education has gone down so much that children become like robots after finishing school. If you have to go to the hospital, you have to wait for 8-10 hours to see the doctor. New immigrants find basements for shelter. Getting your own house has become a dream now. Those who have bought houses will have to pay the mortgage for a long time. Many homeowners are paying interest only, there is no reduction in the principal. Bus service is so sparse that sometimes more than 100 passengers wait for a 38-seater bus. International students are in a very bad situation. Spend 25-30 lakhs, live 4-5 together in basements and do hard labor jobs (warehousing, retail cashier, security). Even if they do 2 years diploma they do not get any good job, only minimum wage jobs. Those with good jobs or jobs (income of eighty thousands or more) should come to Canada with a lot of thought, because when they come here, they are all considered workers and they have to find low-paying jobs and have to live in often in basements. Prof. Kuldip Pelia Surrey, Canada

Every country has its downside and bright as well , obviously first generation immigrants has to struggle ,its true for everywhere. While delhi might have accessibility to doctors look at the pollution and crime rates in delhi . These podcasts are for people to get aware of different circumstances new immigrants faces .
Delhi has pollution but delhi is not only city in India. Hyderabad, Mumbai have very less pollution along with many other cities. Crime is everywhere. Living good life is better than living a labour life with no good quality food to eat, eating same meal 3 times a day, depressed life where there is no one to ask about your mental being is the worst thing anyone can face and this is what canada is all about. Just to showoff that someone is living in CANADA is of no use when the other one in Chandigarh is living a luxurious life and you are doing shifts if you get a job by chance in Canada according to current scenario. So, Appreciate India
If Canada is so great and India is so horrible then tell me why Indians are returning to India from Canada is record numbers. India is developing country so it is understandable that India has some issues but Canada being a first world developed nation, how come it has so many issues and even failed to fulfil the basic necessity of their people.
OMG...Real conversations with different experiences. There is a saying - The grass always looks greener otherside. Canadian govt is minting money by allowing too many immigrants to come in, Universities are also minting money by education but after all this due to their reservations even the most professional job seekers from outside get fewer opportunities. Super Rich becoming Middle class and Middle class becoming poorer. So sad. The worst part Indians exploiting Indians. God knows why they call Canada a developed country when they have horrible weather conditions, poor health care services and Cost of living exceptionally high. It's a deadly trap for people who don't seek advice or understand the real circumstances. I think their inputs were real and valuable but unfortunately only few will value it.😢😮

This podcast is good, just now I visited Toronto and Windsor area few weeks back and I totally agree with the guest. Situation is really not good. I see everywhere indian working in motels, restaurants . I went to Canada to buy property before moving as pr but house price are insane high, average home are over millions and inflated without underlying assets. The average salary should match the home prices but in Canada everything seems yo be scm. GTA is too expensive to live . I spent $2500 for 6 days trip which would be 30% less in usa. I still don’t why young people are moving to Canad-a for college degree.
I find it hypocritical on part of Indians singing songs of their luxury life based on abject exploitation of the poor, decrying exploitation of students by the employer. And such are the people going back to India for the same luxury life.
My brother lives in Canada and he said that India is way more developed than Canada in terms of technology. The UPI system is blessing for us. Moreover he craves for cheap internet that we have in India. Healthcare in canada is even worst than Indian government hospital. He will return back by June 2024 because there is huge crises of Jobs in Canada. The unemployment rate in Canada is higher than India. My brother told that many white Canadians are leaving Canada and settling in USA and Europe. I advise people to go some other country but not in Canada.
Following from India should go to canada: 1 those who are not well educated but street smart ,ambitious. 2 Those who love life of social freedom . No rok tok from relatives 3.Those who are not orthodox and can mingle with every type of people of any caste creed religion. 4 those who are under 21 years old and undereducated but gutsy streetsmart If you fall in the above 3 categories you should definitely go ,spend 5.years ....you will not like to come back. But if you are born in cities like Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune,Vadodara, Hyderabad, banglore and well educated.with specialized degree or have a family business ..you can create canada lifestyle in your own city .
In my case, my personal GP I can do the same day or the next day because I have known him since 1995. I have specialist doctors and see them regularly, but to see a gastroenterologist I'm waiting for 5 months. The doctor advised me twice and even went to emergency, they referred me, but not enough technicians to do to test using an endoscope to see my stomach. it is the fault of the system, hospital, and politicians. Most Canadian ministers are not highly or technically educated like PM Justin Trudeau - who worked as a school teacher and is a naive and stupa guy. you can't run a country smartly like Taiwan Singapore Finland, or Sweden. France has the best medical system.
I see a lot of podcast that your doing that is why people are going back Would love to see something for people who are happy and staying there and have faced and overcome their issues If you can find someone who has a Work background client facing IT companies like account manager, project manager, onboarding new customers

In addition to my earlier comment, I think it will be really helpful if this podcast interviews people who made it in Canada through their sheer hardwork and determination, who actually came out of their comfort zone, who improved their skills, who didn’t criticize the system much (i know everyone has some bad experiences), who took the challenge, who remained grounded, and had realistic expectations. I firmly believe that audiences of this channel will benefit enormously if they hear such encouraging real stories. Otherwise it much easier to criticize and talk about how wonderful the life was before coming to Canada. By the way Canada is just one country, the story will be same wherever you go outside your home country.
All the people here have gone through sheer hard work and determination and every single one of them came out of their comfort zone. Leaving your home country itself is leaving your comfort zone. Getting a full time job in Canada is sheer hard work. These people have already gone through that. But at the same time they are spitting facts. These are all facts which every single person in Canada goes through. It's not one person's experience. It is every single person's experience. Why should they not talk about it when it's true.
And no, the story is not safe in every other home country. Like she said, medical in India is amazing. People from all over the world travel to India for medical. Technology is also much much advanced. Canada is basically zero in terms of technology. Literally.. people who lived in multiple countries can definitely compare.
@asht7899, so yall should stay in India. If all the Indians go back to use the amazing healthcare in India, then the Canadian system will improve incrementally, too.
@@AdmiralAckbarr why?? Can't accept the negative facts of a country. Even if all the immigrants leave Canada, medical will never change because the system itself is like this way before you were born itself.

At the end the anchor comments, "Canada is not a bad country to come!" *I would reply, it's the worst country to migrate, especially spending ₹20 to ₹40 Lakh to relocate..... UNLESS someone (majority of immigrants) is happy with labour job or Uber driving for the rest of her/his life.*

These guys are super humble who have complains based on their experience. They are not whining as it is important to have these concerns addressed. Regarding exploitation, unfortunately this is common which is unfair. One more thing that I have heard is that someone worked for 2 months at a pizza store and he only got paid for 2 weeks. He asked for the remaining 6 weeks and he was told that it was the training and no one pays for it. Imagine he can write on his cv about the pizza store training. This was insane. He came from India and was screwed by an Indian as well. Plz treat humans with kindness. How rich can one become by stealing few dollars from employees? Best of luck for your guests.

I think most western countries are now far worse off than many developing countries. The entire proposition of west was Rich, Affluent and a great lifestyle -big house, cars, family, pets, clean environment etc. but this proposition holds true only if 2conditions are met-1. Economy grows at about 4to5% and small population where wealth distribution is not a challenge. But, most western countries are seeing negative growth and migration to offset that. So it is a double jeopardy. Countries like Canada, Australia, NZ are finished. They don't have much future.
Nice podcast. Everyone's experience is different. Luckily my experience in Canada has been great. I have a great job and house. My mortgage is low as well. I came to Canada in 2012 when things were not very expensive. I feel bad for new immigrants as they might not be able to buy a single family house unless they are rich.
Well don’t go if you feel it’s not good enough for you.most of all don’t act like you are doing any country a favor by immigrating there.most people move for a better life than they have in inida..Canada is till considered one of the best countries to live in. I think it is # 2 or #3 .
Those who can't go to US, generally go to Canada. They have good colleges but not of US standards. Job opportunities are plenty but salaries are far less. And now with khalistanis getting backing from Canadian government, it's just not worth it. It's OK for farmers, drivers and blue collar workers from Punjab, but not for intellectuals.

@1.00.15 I respect the opinion of the guest about canada being underdeveloped compared to china. However I am of the opinion that we should have a broader view of what the parameters are for calling a nation developed vs under developed. Also the views about united states being a better place to make more money. I suggest a more holistic view about this. People age and people go through ups and downs during their life. We should not look to keep moving from one place to another depending on the stage of life we are in. Currently you are working age person so you could afford paying for private health care (as in India or United states) however at the same time there will be seniors in your society who will find it difficult to pay for those costs. In both these countries the healthcare provided by the government for people who cannot afford private insurance is in deplorable state. Take the instance of the cost of insulin or diabetes drugs or heart related ailments. I know many seniors in India who are on pensions (from esteemed government institutes) end up paying more than 65% of their pensions towards prescription medication. It is pretty much the same issue in United states.
Thoughtful suggestion for new comers/students to explore life outside India before making a decision to permanently move to any country. Well conceptualized podcast covering all significant points necessary for newcomers to be aware of before moving to North America 👍

Worth coming to Canada, if you are ready to work hard and committed to be successful. Life is never an easy nowhere. Lot of patience and workculture is needed. I dont know why this girl did not use her mandarin because I know there are lot of opportunities for multilingual people. Manadrin is great asset in insurance and banking industry.
Mandarin for what? Most in demand and spoken language is French. There are enough chinese people already. 2nd thing the only people who talk positive about canada are the ones who come from very poor backgrounds back home and refugees..for them canada is wow paradise. Rest of people have seen better circumstances even in poor country like africa not just india
It’s not the same Canada that we use to know specifically from last few years things getting really bad ie. auto theft, B&E ,road rage ,illegal fire arms etc

51:22 you explained as to why doctors coming on PR from do not get absorbed here. Canadian born -> US and Aus licence -> etc. However that does not explain as to why there is shortage of doctors. Because if appropriate number of doctors are recruited by the system then the consumers should not felt shortage
Its multi faceted. They do not hire doctors. They do not hire doctors who are immigrating to Canada. Not a lot of people talk about it but the nurses are also leaving there profession as we speak. So doctors are having a hard time running their clinics too and also finding staff. Inoganic growth in population. This overall increases response times and delay in essential services. This is just a summary.
Basically the system to become certified Doctor is tough...and hence the supply of doctors doesn't cope with the demand ...especially with the sudden spike in immigrants
Go to govt hospital like PGI, AIIMS and see condition there. Many times top private hospitals also reffer to these hospitals after sucking 5-10 lakh from patient.
It is better to invest your efforts into your home country so that you can do something better. Being a citizen in a new country is still a second-class citizen.

Find a job at a white store like Loblaws or Metro and maybe do some constructions gigs on the side, STAY AWAY from desi stores. I left Canada and came back to India in 2018 and haven’t regretted the decision yet.

Salary they offer is less for your experience, they say directly, you don’t have canada experience, so can’t give market salary.Even after telling that I’ve worked with Canadian and US clients from India. Still didn’t select- all 3 rejected.

7. Thinking of saving the money in Canada
8. Car is necessary here and expensive

If you say don't move if your household income per month is 2 lacs?? Then most will definitely move.
Canada does not digital marketing professionals. Either return or work hard and smart to address the labour market gap in Canada. Canada does not owe you anything

God saved me 🙏
lucky you. And you can even by an AR 15 there.

If you were really earning 30lakhs per year in india, why would you even bother to move to canada?

Living good life is better than living a labour life with no good quality food to eat, eating same meal 3 times a day, depressed life where there is no one to ask about your mental being is the worst thing anyone can face and this is what canada is all about.
Following from India should go to canada:
1 those who are not well educated but street smart ,ambitious.
2 Those who love life of social freedom . No rok tok from relatives
3.Those who are not orthodox and can mingle with every type of people of any caste creed religion.
4 those who are under 21 years old and undereducated but gutsy streetsmart
If you fall in the above 3 categories you should definitely go ,spend 5.years ....you will not like to come back.

@@asht7899Things take time. Usually it takes 5-10 years to settle down in Canada. Expecting high returns quickly with less efforts only bring disappointment. If u go to any big city like Delhi or Mumbai, how long does it take to settle? Its the same thing here.

He asked for the remaining 6 weeks and he was told that it was the training and no one pays for it. Imagine he can write on his cv about the pizza store training. This was insane.
I agree with 90% of things discussed

Those who can't go to US, generally go to Canada. They have good colleges but not of US standards. Job opportunities are plenty but salaries are far less.

It’s not the same Canada that we use to know specifically from last few years things getting really bad ie. auto theft, B&E ,road rage ,illegal fire arms etc
Iam from 🇬🇧, & everything discussed in this podcast is 1000% true.
I have business of event management in Pakistan & Dubai, but settling it in london is somewhat difficult due to some reasons
This is a very sensible discussion. I came to Canada in 2018, it was much better. After COVID, this country has changed a lot. Research well before moving here now.
MERA BHARAT MAHAN 🇮🇳
It's very true about India, Medical facilities are far better than any other countries.so true. Now India is far better than any other place in the world 🌎
Not far better, million times better than sh!t canada ❤ 🇮🇳
How many countries have u been to?
I watch these podcasts once every day and this gives me immense pleasure and happiness that I am Indian and leaving in India, every Indian going there is like Bangladeshi or Pakistani who goes to Dubai as labour man, good now they are getting what mistakes they are doing by going to Canada 😅
People who already have sucksesful parents, gud house in India/dubai, gud job /bussineess /comfort in India, mummas pampered boys are compairing life in Canada and India😅, will this give true picture?? 80 percent of Indians are not in gud situation as these guys , 😂
They are so privileged and pampered that they became entitled. Now they want to make $5000 per month by only putting $10000 and they want the results quickly. 😂
Both me and my husband have a job we still never bought a car. His office is only 5km and ge goes on fat tyre ebike every day, even in -30 he went with no problems. His body got so used to the cold and he is so fit now! I have WFH so it's great! We've saved soo much because of not having a car.
I pity you
but where is growth and development in this process madam
You immigrated for driving Ebike in -20 ?
How much you saved ?
Is it 70-80lacs?
How many houses you own in Canada?
How many more years, are you going to live without Car😂😂😂😂😂
you are very lucky, good job, it is a matter of pride to save money to achieve one's long-term goals, very few can live like that.

Itne smart hone per b agar aap Canada janne ki bebkufi kr rhe ho to kya faida, explore krna hi haii Germany jao, Finland, Norway jao at least vahan per human life ki value to haii
wahan koi aane de to na ,wahan aane ke liye talent chahiye jo in loosers mein nahi hota .
Best Podcast till now. The guests are knowledgeable and practical.
Still better than living in India which has 1.4 billion people and everything is so competitive and complicated. Keep standing in queue for everything. So much pollution and corruption. Rich people buy laws and make laws to suck middle class. Thousands of applications just for the post of peon. Canada is far far better if you can get a good job and you are skilled. Atleast your children will live an amazing life in Canada.
Do you know that lakhs of students go to canada every year.
The competition is no different than India. The major difference is India still has jobs while in Canada most white collar job are almost impossible to get post COVID.
@@bourbon646 During COVID, corporations realize that they can get work done remotely. So they just hire more Indians overseas instead of locals. Companies are downsizing their office spaces.
Even if you have to die of hunger, die in India because dying in Canada is costly too.
Like the way whole discussion was driven without making any negative comments
lots of important and practical points... thanks for sharing .. keep up the good work
Homelessness and the risks of attacks as pointed out by the lady are indeed true. Especially in the subway!
51:22 you explained as to why doctors coming on PR from do not get absorbed here. Canadian born -> US and Aus licence -> etc. However that does not explain as to why there is shortage of doctors. Because if appropriate number of doctors are recruited by the system then the consumers should not felt shortage
Because they don’t hire enough doctors
Its multi faceted.
They do not hire doctors.
They do not hire doctors who are immigrating to Canada.
Not a lot of people talk about it but the nurses are also leaving there profession as we speak. So doctors are having a hard time running their clinics too and also finding staff.
Inoganic growth in population.
This overall increases response times and delay in essential services. This is just a summary.
Basically the system to become certified Doctor is tough...and hence the supply of doctors doesn't cope with the demand ...especially with the sudden spike in immigrants
Doctors don't get hired. And most, move to the US for better pay and good career growth.
I would propose making country quota like the US and ensure people coming here are what we need.
This will work only for US. Canada is not US
Go to govt hospital like PGI, AIIMS and see condition there. Many times top private hospitals also reffer to these hospitals after sucking 5-10 lakh from patient.
We have free government hospitals in india also with plenty of doctors
Happy to see your podcast.is bar lamba intezar kiya
Hey, please test audio when it’s played in car. Seems very low, we played it on our road trip.
Sure
exact same story in australia. 2 worst countries to move outside india are aus and canada.
I am scared when I have a health issue, not because of the health issue but thinking about how many hours will I be waiting in Emergency! Shit scared
Truth is said..
It is better to invest your efforts into your home country so that you can do something better. Being a citizen in a new country is still a second-class citizen.
My son stays in down town near CN tower and I visited him may to September this year but things looks quite nice there . However this interview made me scare.
Winnipeg is the crime capital of Canada, not Toronto.
It's so much , true, whatever these guys are saying!
