Polina is an amazing pianist! One of the very best interpretation of the Goldberg Variations I ever heard. Pure sincerity and transparency in her playing. This is incredibly beautiful. She talks directly to the heart.
This lady is not only a great pianist, but also very articulate with a great sense of humour, but also a great listener, very generous. Bach is not the limit of her immense repertoire, but in those interpretations I have heard, are not only technically superb but she brings to interpretation a profound emotional sense. This is not only technique but passion. If she were nearer I follow the Russian custom of heaping flowers and this gracious and delightful lady, musician..

In India you are told that all music comes from our Mahashakti and beforr birth or conception ver, few of us get a key from Her and when using their Intuition, the key, these chosen persons hesr what She had created and they note down in notes what they heard . This is an unusual, very personal performance of the Variations. While I can appreciate "historically informed" approaches to Bach's work, the school is becoming tiresome, now that its dogma is entrenched. Thank you, Polina, for sharing your sensitive interpretation of Goldberg, as well as of the other works of Bach I've heard you perform on TH-cam.

Hooray, I have discovered a new pianist for me! I am completely enraptured by this interpretation. I like it Even more than the three Recording by Glenn Gould. Polina Osetinskaya already plays the Aria very vividly and with a stupendous technique, without the technique coming to the fore.
I have never heard the ornaments (I don’t know the English Term for the german „Verzierung“) she plays like this before.
She gives the first variation incredibly spiritedly without it seeming forced.
I am so glad I discovered this talented lady. I have already discovered the concerto with the D minor piano concerto. This Recording I will save for later though ...

Another old man. I've heard some Goldberg Variations. Rosen's good. He does the repeats. Glenn Gould--He's good. Gustave Leonhardt was good on harpsichord. Who else? Probably some others. I'm sure there are some that I've missed. Right now, I think Polina's is the best. Thanks.

Согласна на все 100% . включила и не могу оторваться, слушаю и слушаю, как приклеенная к стулу, сижу и слушаю. Это признак гениальности исполнения на мой взгляд. Вчера с таким же чувством слушала Скрябина в исполнении Гульда. Или вот - Султанова со вторым концертом Шопена или первым Чайковского. Космическое что-то!
Был счастлив слушать этот концерт во второй раз!

Polina Osetynskaya...just a pretty russian woman. Whoaaa.....shre grew into a valored, dediocated keyboard artist with great interpreting capabilities. She has interpreted Sofia Gubaildulina and Xennakis. A true, beautiful russian musician. And you can hear she's very dedicated to her art.

This is so beautiful, it hurts. You bring this magnificent variations to life as if you were improvising them in the moment; as if the notes came together in the most fortuitous way possible in a stream of consciousness inspired by the essence of humanity. I always loved the precision in Bach's pieces but only after I have discovered you, I'm hearing the enormous emotional depth as well.

Ich bin fasziniert☺️ Jede Variation gefühlvoll und transparent. Als könnte man wie in einer Ausstellung um sie herumgehen, aus jedem Winkel betrachten und einzelnen Ton in der Menge sehen. So braucht es keine Geschwindigkeitsrekorde oder Gleichmäßigkeitswettbewerb. Ich bin so froh die Aufnahme gefunden zu haben🙏
Polina Osetinskaya è interprete profonda e tecnicamente trascendentale della musica sublime del Genio di Eisenach. Con Ella la diatriba clavicembalo vs. pianoforte perde di significato, sa far cantare il pianoforte come un (potente) clavicembalo. Si vedano, ad esempio, gli abbellimenti posti in modo esteticamente infallibile....Una esecuzione storica, grandiosa Polina, ne andrebbe fatto un cd!

I wish I could play like that. That life time has passed. I will have to wait for another. Imagine such a gift to indulge others, for pleasure for pain, for the sweet and bitter. Of course I would recover from any illness and perhaps help mend a broken heart or two.
