Must be good for output of a calcium reactor, but honestly, a nice size sump, reach in grab a bunch a throw it out is way less time consuming, and probably more cost effective, probably even better since 100% of water goes through it!
Yea, if I had the space in my sump I would completely agree. You really need a good size space for a proper refugium. I've also considered algae mats, but those are engineering intensive to build..
Very nice video. I have a small request about your sound level. It goes up/down like a yoyo. Not nice. Sometimes its hard to hear your own voice. Can you keep the background music low and with a contant level. Please use a Lavalier microphone. Many thanks for your excellent video's.
I totally agree. I've went back and forth on the background music in general. I do use a lav mic, but it picks up lots of background noise so I do a lot of post processing to clean it up. I'll be extra careful with ducking voice with music though as I agree that the dips are really jarring. Maybe I'll just get rid of the background music, I'm not sure it adds that much.
Can you grow pods with this in your sump?

Hi mate,
Just wondering which you prefer, the pax or the pacific sun?
Thanks in advance
The Pax Bellum is significantly higher quality, but it also costs a lot more. I prefer the Pax Bellum though for sure.
ReefMan thanks mate
I’ll grab the Pax for sure
I think you'll be happy with it. It's really impressively well make I think.
