I kind of agree with the medical care scam part. One time, my mom was sick for two weeks straight. We went to the hospital and she said what it was and needed help to stop being sick. Hospital said she didn't know what she was talking about and made her go through MRIs and other tests. Guess what? They eventually said that what she said she had was what she had and they still tried to charge her $175k. Like no. The patient knows their body better than anyone. Doctors need to listen to the patients before throwing them through all kinds of tests that could have been avoided. I'm not saying all are bad but I'm not surprised by the scam part for medical.
I had a bill from just a visit to the hospital to see my doctor. We sat in the waiting room for nearly an hour to simply talk to the doc for like 10-15 minutes on my meds and adjustments, only to leave and later get a 800USD bill. Its a scam if you dont have the right people.
It IS a scam anyway even if you got the right person/people. They just want your money or you dead if you can’t afford it. Most countries have free healthcare…

Most common they end up preforming C-sections that cost more money and could have been avoided if the doctor just left shit alone. These people want money! (Are there good ones? Yes, are there more bad ones than good ones? Yes.)
For the last one... there's lip gloss specifically made for kids. Personally, I don't wear any makeup or anything but that's just my opinion. It is perfectly alright for younger children, (notice I said children. Another thing parents: let kids be who they are), to wear makeup/lip gloss. The lip gloss parent is how you get daughters that are either super shy and anxiety ridden or a daughter who has no regard for her own self worth which can lead to way more severe things than lipgloss. In more severe cases of bad parenting, the daughter is both. If you don't like your kid wearing things, ok fine. But the way the parent handled it was not okay in the slightest.
Like, I can understand the bit about a kid not dressing/acting/looking beyond their years, boys AND girls alike. Objectively speaking, there are some real sickos out there looking for that, and the parent should act in a manner that protects the kid which is probably what the lip gloss parent was *attempting* to do, albeit in a heavy-handed way. Can it make a child regress, you're probably not far from the truth there, but I suppose the key is not resorting to extremes.
They usually don't include everything and they don't send a fully itemized list through insurance. A lot of time they leave out big charges when they run it through insurance, which is illegal. You really can get a lot of money dropped asking for a specific itemized list, because they must comply, and then you have THAT bill run through insurance. Insurance will yoink any bullshit charges, like once they charged me for a pair of tweezers for getting my stitches out(which they sterilize so they don't just pitch them after) and i got my 800$ bill dropped to 25$ because my insurance covered most of it. We can all agree that 800$ for getting 5 stitches out is ridiculous.
Shoot most of the time you can take stitches out at home so long as you have rubbing alcohol, tweezers and small scissors. The medical field is seriously over charging patients for the stupidest things like up to $500 for a box of tissues that aren't even the good brand when you are hospitalized.

I had one over $4000, I asked the hospital what costed that much. For a few blood samples, a urine sample and zofran 🤨🙄😠 one of the blood samples they did wasn't shown and the urine sample no way costs over $400.
