Genuinely so sad, last year I went to this mall that I usually go with my parents for Black Friday and Christmas shopping but we hadn’t been there for 2 years since Covid. When we got there it was just empty, a lot of stores and restaurants were closed only some were opened and everything was dead. It used to be so lively now it’s just empty, it really just made me sad I always loved going there now it’s just nothing.
Completely agreed! Sucks to see but I love to also admire the beauty of time capsule feel you get walking around it now. Seems like most malls are starting to fade out.
I remember back when the mall was in it's prime! I miss the Biggs Grocery store, which was where you first entered. There use to be amusement rides in the mall as well!
I always wondered how the stores on the upper levels got deliveries. I know on the first floor they have delivery doors on the outside of the mall. But the upper floors certainly couldn't.
I’d hate to see what the theatres look like in that old Showcase Cinemas if the lobby is in that bad of shape. I remember some people actually got in there and recorded a video around 2018 and it didn’t look so good even back then. That place has been closed since 2010 so it’s kind of interesting to see what over a decade of neglect does to a place. As for the rest of the mall…I don’t see how they can afford to keep the lights turned on. You know that bill has to be massive. They need to just go ahead and demolish this place.
Not this one! Its open to the public, if you watch the whole thing the security guy even said its cool to just walk around. They dont like photography for some reason though
It officially closed December 2022, although the Bass Pro shop connected to it is still going as well as the arcade inside. I bet 2015 is when the theater closed.
I don’t understand no video’s allowed. Wouldn’t you want possible businesses to see how nice this mall is still, to try to drum up business in it?? Makes no sense

Like my mall it’s so sad😢
This is still a beautiful place, but unless businesses move back in and maintain it, it won’t be soon. Sad
God this place looks incredible, total time capsule of the 2000's.

Very bittersweet to see this again. Might need to do this trip myself sometime. ☺️☺️
They should let homeless people say in this abandoned mall. At least they can get shelter from the outside.
Lovely footage and vlog
Thank you!!!! I'd love to keep doing more. Thanks for taking your time to watch :)

Maybe there could be a connection through the parking garage? Your guess is as good as mine lol

No mall on the bus line ever survived
Lol that same nerdy paul blart mall cop on the bike kicked me out a few weeks ago
Looks like it still has cleaning crews come through.
Yep! I saw multiple there during my time there
This place needs to be reserved.
The mall that should've never been built, they lost millions on this failure.
Malls were a scerge to the human psychology.
How can you enter those places, I mean, can't you get in trouble for entering there or something like that?

When you turned the camera on yourself, you reminded me a bit of Jack from the Wafflepwn youtube channel lol
LOL 😭😂
What was that one store that was still open?
Bass Pro and some health club, cant remember the name of it
The movies listed at the cinema are from 2015. Is that when the mall closed?

Didn't Dan bell explore this mall or was it proper people
I know Proper People have definitely made a video on the place, not sure about Dan
@@viberidez5515 Dan did quite a while ago
Why did it get abandoned???
Bankruptcy and fire code violations I believe
millions of dollars down the tube.
Graffiti Disneyland
This is what happens when you gut the wages of the middle class.

This was my same exact thought!!!
