My TYM 234 HST has 750 hours on it. I've had the front loader arms crack off twice. I added steel and bracing to the tractor and so far, so good. The backhoe separated from the tractor the first hour of use, and then I welded up a new bracket to attack it to the rear center pin. Now it stays on. During use, 3 of the bearing posts of the backhoe failed and I welded them back on with additional metal, which has worked well so far. The rear upper attachment of the backhoe to the transmission then broke into little pieces, I had to weld up a beefer bracket. At 700 hours, the main frame cracked and the tractor about folded in half, and cracked the plastic seat surround (the body as in were that in most tractors is steel) was destroyed. Total parts are $2500 to restore it to service. I did all the work. took me about 50 yours total to disassemble and reassemble the unit. I am done with TYM products. This machine could have killed me more than a few times, I feel lucky. I am going to unload this thing as soon as I can find a buyer.
Hi they're making them, a shorter side but more powerful, because the 25 hp tractor can lift 1200 pounds/ and the T293 is a lb also powerful that one have been out for over 10 years
I have a T503 and have to say I've liked it up to recently. Actually I still do, it's the customer service parts I'm hating. I've heard the horror stories but now I'm living them. My dealer closed a couple years after I purchased mine. Recently the ignition switch started acting up. It doesn't return to run properly leaving me without any accessories, (gauges, radio, air etc.). You can play with it and usually get it to come in but it's getting harder and harder, last time I started it after putting in a new battery it was near impossible to get engaged. I've got a list of four dealers within 250 miles of me none of whom even seem to care about selling a switch or helping a new customer. I have been left with the last one who told me they didn't have one, there's none in the parts warehouse, they will have to have shipped from South Korea, looking at maybe two months. No way of verifying so I could wait two months to maybe find out everything go lost in the mail. I don't know, the tractors are nice and you can save a lot of money but if you really rely on your tractor I don't know that any foreign made tractor especially a TYM is worth the money if their not going to back them and their customers up.
+papecat It is my understanding that not much will be different to start off with. I don't have any insider information, but everything I'd heard said that it will be subtle to start off with.
This is the "inside info"TYM completed the acquisition of all the assets of Kukje Machinery of Korea (parent company of Branson Tractors) on September 20th, 2016 to become the number one Korean tractor manufacturer. For the past 65 years, TYM’s corporate vision has been to become the leading tractor manufacturer. With the acquisition of Kukje Machinery, TYM is now one step closer to accomplishing this vision with the combined company’s sales revenue exceeding $600 million and dealer network broadening by 250 dealers in Korea and distributorship in 30 countries worldwide. The combined company plans to maintain TYM and Branson as separate and unique brands in North America but will aggressively pursue growth in world agricultural equipment market through synergistic R&D and improved manufacturing efficiency from economies of scale that will result in increased competitiveness. With the acquisition complete, TYM will supply estimated 15,000 tractors to North American market in 2016.
Is it just me or do the axle housings look small for the 454 and 554 compared to other tractors in that HP range - stop video at 4:52? Also it doesn't look like where the loader hooks up is as robust as some tractors.
looking at the TYM 554 cab shuttle shift with 3rd vlv function on the loader also rim guard in the rear tires where are you located and could you send me a price
Jd has a 1025r hst and I'm like I want a power reverser or syncro shift in a 25hp. But since I seen that this company makes the syncro shift in 25hp I may as well do that with a 35 HP model
Question I have is what sort of emission system is used for the TY-3 series. My guess is it uses a particulate filter that must be burned out periodically when sufficient build up occurs. Am I correct? Jeff
My T264 broke within hours of having it. (The head of a curl cylinder snapped off-never heard of that happening). While TYM dealership says warranty will cover it, there are no spare parts in the U.S. It's been almost 5 weeks that I haven't been able to use my tractor, and still no word on whether the part has even shipped from Korea. There are numerous excess inventory pieces at the Ocala dealership that could be used to fix my tractor, but they will wait on the shipment instead. What good is a warranty if they refuse to install parts that are available, and obtaining spare parts is not possible? Also, Ocala Tractor tried selling me an extended warranty with terms that the service department says they wouldn't honor. It was a great tractor for the 3 hours that it worked. Anyone want a tractor?
Haha. You weren't supposed to notice that. Forklift ran into a wheel so we replaced it with what we had available until we got the valve stem fixed:) Good eye.
Yes, they come with the front end loader. You can get them without one, but they typically come with the loader. Our price for the T234 with loader is $12,895.
+MultiDieselman TYM is the manufacturer. They've been a manufacturer of tractors for about 65 years, but started making under their own brand in the early 2000's. They still manufacture for several other tractor companies, the most widely known and publicized being Mahindra.
Nice-looking tractor it reminds me a lot of ALS I would imagine that LS makes them tractors just like they make the New Holland and several other brand names
They must have changed owners because now it looked understaffed and not necessarily unprofessional but very informal. There was no real sales rep and the office was full of Asian decor which means it's more than likely a small sole business owner kind of dealer now. My main concern would be keeping up with warranties and service.
Not sure where this dealer is getting their information but according to TYM site you can get cab on T234. tym-tractors.com/tractors/t234-hst-compact-utility-tractor/
The dealer also states that the T234 does not have a mid point PTO and the same site you have listed says it does. I am currently looking to buy the T234 and my local dealer is selling me a T234 with the MM60 belly mower.
Yup, pretty much everybody has gone with plastics these days because they are much cheaper to replace than it is to repair metal. Fairly strong too. Only 2 instances in which we've had to replace body parts. 1) dropping a round bale onto the tractor 2) Backing up into something. $35 to replace a rear fender.

The T354 looks strikingly similar to my Mahindra 2540, which is built by TYM. It's my first tractor and absolutely love it.

Looks like a very cool lineup

the tread on the first 45 HP you showed the left rear tire is on backward on the rim
Set up for DONUTS !
No mention of the dealership name, website, etc. How am I supposed to know who the heck your dealeship is and where in Texas it is????
Nice looking tractors. Looking forward to seeing what happens with TYM's purchase of Kukje/Branson.

Liability/safety issue with the loaders raised. No lockouts, accident waiting to happen.

Why is the left rear 454 tire backwards facing

Yup, they are made on the other side of the world. Their toilets flush a different direction too.
How come no prices? You could have gave a price for each the way they sit.

if only the t234 had a mid pto. man they would sell.
They do have this option. Part# - 51T2MPTO

TYM is a separate manufacturer and competitor to LS.

How much for T234 with cab and loader? Do you have an e-mail for questions about shipping?
The T234 doesn't come with a cab option. The smallest cab that is available is on the T394 HST for $22,495. My email is james@vntractors.com
Not sure where this dealer is getting their information but according to TYM site you can get cab on T234. tym-tractors.com/tractors/t234-hst-compact-utility-tractor/

How much is a t394 hst cab and loader
Connor Grogan $22,495
James Barta ok thank you
Cheap looking with all the plastic these days, and don't even get me started with the ugly frontends, tractors don't have to be aerodynamic. smh
