Various mutual fund investment doubts are covered in one gamut. Useful guidelines to the new bies and retail investors. Very experienced and balanced analysis. 👏👏👏
The only funds you need is a nifty50 and niftyNext50 in a ratio 3:1 or 4:1. Plus a gilt fund for debt portion for regular rebalancing. Or you can use arbitrage funds for debt portion as they are tax efficient.
Aggressive hybrid funds are good choice to begin with as later on one can build portfolio around it. It guarantees downside protection, tax free equity debt rebalancing, equity portion follows flexi cap mandate providing fund manager greater degree of freedom to maneuver. One should treat them pure equity. A combo of aggressive hybrid and nifty next 50 or midcap quality can be a good option.
@@yogisharmamagic70 aggressive hybrid seems to me a simple product and less riskier with a known asset allocation. BAF differs from one fund house to another, different models, no control about asset allocation at any point of time.
Which is the five mutual fund we should invest in. After seeing the video I am still more confused. If you only do not know which are 10 good mutual funds then what is the use of this video
All liquid funds have a NAV of Rs 3000 and above. If I invest Rs 1000 returns I get would be very less.Investors cannot invest Rs 10000 every month Dhirendra pls say how to get maximum return with low investment?
What are the options if you do not want a balanced fund in your portfolio but want to keep debt and equity separate. Debt would give you average returns of debt and protect your principal, while equity will push for inflation hedge. The only point to be considered and that would depend on your life stage and savings stage is what % would you place in equity versus debt.
Please share your view on this portfolio. This is for a very long term. 60% Large cap, 25% Mid Cap & 15% Small 1. Axis nifty 100 index fund 2. Axis growth Opportunities fund 3. DSP Mid cap fund 4. PGIM Mid cap fund 5. Parag Parikh Flexi cap fund 6. SBI Small cap fund
Dhirendra Kumar has already spoken about ELSS which is as good as flexi-cap funds and comes with an added advantage of tax benefits under 80C. This funds also includes large-caps . In nature and investment mandate, ELSS and flexi-cap funds are similar. I hope this clears your queries :)
Thank you very much sir Sir please tell your valuable opinion on investment in international index fund importance. Sir mention different types of international index fund s available for investment. How to choose best international index fund for very long term investment
We generally suggest our investors invest 20-30% of their equity portfolio in international funds. You can choose these funds as per their performance via our website or you can get a list of handpicked funds by our analysts via our book 'Best Funds 2023' or use our premium service Value Research Premium.

new portfolio dashboard design is very poor previous one was better ..... now i have to create a google spread sheet ( which i am not good at ) or else have to use some other site ...... previous portfolio tracker was almost perfect and user friendly

ELSS fund should be in every portfolio, not only for tax saving but the descipline as it can't be redeemed before 3 years.
1) nifty 50 index fund (30%)
2) aggressive hybrid fund (20%)
3) one midcap fund (25%)
4) NASDAQ 100 fund (5%)
5) short term debt funds (20%)
Enough. 1) do Re-balance 2) do SIP 3) invest more during market fall of 5% 4) hold for long term. You will get decent returns
Why do I need hybrid if I already have 20pc of debt fund? Also 5pc nasdaq is too low for diversification, so also useless.
Never invest in hybrid for long term. Choose equity for >5 years and debt for 3 years.
Two funds - one S&P 500 80% - one Bond fund 20%
All you need is a two fund
1. Equity (Index fund)
2. Debt (Arbitrage/Money Market/Liquid fund).
Why anyone invest in debts funds? Either invest in gold they give much better returns than debt funds

For equity part, a Nifty 50 index fund, an Aggressive Hybrid fund and a Flexicap/Multicap fund is enough ?
But needs also a pictorial representation along with the video... this could bring more ease of understanding

go for savings @5 vs 7ncertainity in liquid funds
Go with one which has the largest AUM, de-risk yourself by splitting into 2.
Even banks are capped at 5 lakhs per customer IMO
