- Weaverville, California is a gateway to the Redwoods and to gold rush history. Visit Joss House--California’s oldest Chinese Temple--or the Jack Jackson museum to learn about the time when the city was lawless. ABC 10's John Bartell pulled off of highway 299 and make a quick pit stop during his latest road trip.

i lived in the town for a bit and loved it, my dad spent his last days in that town around friends including his pool team. thank you for showing off its beauty.
I went to high school there. Such a great place to be a teenager.
The 13,000 year history of the first nations people in the area (who are still there) is also beautiful and fascinating.
Weaverville lets gooooooooo

it is not the gateway to the Redwoods, they grow further south, the climate there is not fit for them. and it's the Jake, not Jack Jackson museum. sheez. and yes, I lived there 8th grade thru high school. and probably still have two brothers living there
There's a lot of inter-breeding in Weaverville. You probably have more than 2 relatives living there.
