This was a great video to watch! I remember watching JackFrostMiner when I was younger back in the third grade (entering 9th this fall) coming home from school and watching a new video, its always sad to see some of your favorite youtubers when they decide to stop uploading. It kind of sucks because he was one of few big pocket edition creators who didnt make his channel clickbaity as did most other pocket edition creators during the timeframe when JackFrostMiner still uploaded. If I watch a video of his it's still pretty decent but if I decide to watch a video from another pocket edition youtuber who uploads it feels unbearable

JFM's disappearance really hit hard as he was one of the first youtubers I watched back in 2016 when I first began getting into Minecraft (more specifically Minecraft Pocket Edition) I used to look up to him because he had a generally real up-beat personality like mine, and since so many famous youtubers only played Minecraft PC (Java) I felt even more connected because seeing him get famous while playing what at the time was one of the last popular versions of the game made me have high hopes that the same would happen to me.

I can actually say why SGC is gone. He kinda revealed himself to be quite arrogant who didnt really care about his fans at all. During his Crafting Dead Series he did numerous things (such as killing off characters for the sake of drama) that just made fans angry who then started calling him out in the comments and on twitter. He then proceeded to outright block fans who voiced their complaints and criticism and it just started spiraling from there with his content just getting worse and worse.

I also remember JackFrostMiner posting an update video where he pointed out college as a reason for him not being able to upload. He also actually tried to find an editor, he gave out the raw footage for a let's play and basically let anyone anyone participate in a free-for-all editing contest.
After submitting our edits, he would add his intro and outro himself, although many missed this part of the explanation (I was one of them, I won't lie) so they begged him for those too. I now realise that his intro video is something that has an alpha channel, something even experienced editor seldom deal with.
Going back to topic, he did choose an editor and it seems that everything would go over well. I don't remember ever hearing from him after that.
I don't know if these videos I'm talking about is still up, but I'm sure about what I remember about it and hopefully there are JFM fans here who were around when that happened to back my claim.

One of my minecrafters of all time was named Ph3ll. He had a TH-cam channel a long time ago around the same time davidangel64 was doing his X’s adventures in Minecraft. Ph3ll didn’t have a huge TH-cam channel at the time but imo had one of the best personalities at the time. Sadly he decided to stop making TH-cam videos and deleted his channel. Only thing I can find that he still existed is his old account on the Minecraft forums. I remember playing along side him when yogscast first opened their world to the public. My one good memory was of a roller coaster they had at the time. Was some amazing stuff.

One channel I grew up with was SlyFoxHound. Not sure what happened since I only kept up with him on his YouTibe channel, but I assume it was due to having career interests outside of the internet, as I'm pretty sure he was pushing into his 30s by the time he stopped uploading.

Slamacow always stood out to me because the whole “minecraft animation” rep was very poor, most minecraft animations where awful quality, overly sexualised, or just screaming for comedy. I remember falling in love with the simple characters he made, which where able to tell great stories whilst having little to no voice acting or anything.

So there is one person that I would like to bring up. AbsolutePsychopath. he was a speed runner for a number of years, and made very entertaining speed runs of CTM maps. (if you haven’t seen any of his videos I still recommend them, he was a really awesome player and a really cool content creator.) He was very talented. He disappeared around five years ago. His last post on his Twitter was about a surgery that he had to undergo. Sadly I fear the worst because he hasn’t updated his Twitter or youtube since.

I miss Jack, back in the early pocket edition days he was the one to always watch. Would like to see him come back one day but understand we're all older now with other commitments. Even if he started doing something different besides minecraft I would probably still watch him for nostalgia sake.

BrenyBeast has a pretty interesting story you might want to cover. one day he disappeared with nearly no trace and then eventually returned, starting with streaming on twitch, and then returning to TH-cam. back in the day he was well known for his tutorials, talk and play series and hardcore series. let me know if you would like anymore info.
he likely ended up taking his extended break due to his grandfather's passing and he said in one of his videos that he was quite close with them.

For me, the greatest disappearance in the Minecraft PE community who had the most potential out of everyone at the time and could’ve become one of the largest faces of Minecraft today is JoePassGaming.
We finally know what happened to him all these years and he is living his best life right now, but it still pains me to just see him leave and disappear and never look back. He was definitely going to be the next big MC youtuber, but he just stopped everything completely out of the blue.
