Those sounds out of this bass are super ! But most of all : you played beautifull things on it , at last somebody playing out of the box so to say Cheers man !!
Great demo that really shows what this crazy thing is and what it's capable of. My favorite part was the effects at the end, I came away thinking "this bass... it can do it."
Thaks Jimmy that was great. Love that Bass Vi and your playing and ideas .Well done sir. As I say what I heard from preachers in my family "thank you Jesus".
@@JimmyGallowayGuitar If you’re able to give advice about what a good setup is, I would appreciate it. I’m getting Labella flats for it. I’m not a guitar player. I hit hard, but I’m willing to be soft to compensate for the tension due to scale length.
@johnmclaughlin2392 I play pretty light. These are roundwounds. The flats will give you more tension. You may need to shim the neck, raise the bridge to give you the right angle. Watch some Puisheen vids. He is great at offset setups.

I gotta get me one of these. I don't have an electric anymore since I sold everything when I got cancer. But man, this sounds so good maybe I save up to get this instead of a normal guitar. Hmmm? Would this work as my only guitar? Good chance it might. Thanks for the inspiration! Well done. Great playing. How would this sit in a mix with a bass and a guitar? in the middle or would it occupy the same space as a bass in frequency?
Thanks for watching! To answer your question about frequency, it would depend on a few variables. What would you play through? If it was a bass amp, you would clash with bass depending on your voicings. There is the strangle switch though to cut. It's kind of like the piano/ bass arrangement.... you don't want your bass playing and the left hand of piano to step on each other. The BASS VI is incredibly versatile. I play solo gigs with it, using delay and reverb and looper. It's not widely known about so you get a lot of head scratching at gigs. You can find them for under $500 used. Go for it
Thank you. I'm using everything stock. I'm going to put LaBella Flats next string change. It has stock bridge. ..05 shim. This is direct out of Line 6 Helix. Thanks for watching!
Gosh darn best way to highlight this guitar. I recently played a PRS Baritone, with the 27.7" scale B-B. I'm wondering if you've been able to try thinner strings then going up to B standard, and if so what were your impressions?
I have heard of people doing baritone on these, but I have no experience. It should work in theory but be mindful of the string having enough length for 30" scale on baritone set
Great to hear a real musician playing. Thanks.
Thanks for watching! Cheers
This is the best Bass VI demo I've ever seen, by a mile. Really, really well done.
I really appreciate you watching. Thanks so much!
Probably the best Bass VI demo out there

The most dynamic instrument there is, in range and power!!

I agree. It's like an acoustic on steroids.
Really inspiring stuff - hadn’t really looked at this design in much depth. Great walkthrough, playing, and ideas.

Great playing ang gorgeous sound. May I ask what upgrades have you done on it, besides the shimming and what strings you are using?

These strings are what they shipped with it. Probably the 24-100 Fenders

Do you use a guitar o bass amp?
Hello. I'm using Line 6 Helix direct here
Thanks for the inspirering playing, may I ask, do you use a thumbpick?
Thanks so much. Yes, I use a Extra Heavy Herco thumbpick
That landslide tho..
Thanks!
Great video. I just ordered one of these guitars. One are you using for a thumb pick?
I use a Herco Extra Heavy and file it down. I have a video on my channel about the process with tips and tricks. Thanks! Enjoy your new guitar/bass!
Thanks, I'll definitely check out the video!@@JimmyGallowayGuitar
Did you do anything to fix the intonation issue with the low E string.
Mine is intonated. There's a .05° shim.
