    Ghana should be focused on critical infrastructure, based on future needs, such as highway systems, hospital systems, competitive education, health insurance, sidewalks, sewer systems, etc. If they did this, the entire country would grow organically but Ghana is building the country backwards. Instead of getting the core ingredients to bake its cake, and then finally putting the icing on the cake last, once it has cooled down, Ghana is sugar-coating core infrastructure issues with clubbing, alcohol, and over-priced housing, while an entire country suffers to afford three meals a day. Sad.

      Sadly, I believe Ghana will go down as the test bed of how not to modernize a country, by duplicating everything wrong with the West.

    Good work. I suggest our interchanges require more monumental enhancements like structural mighty sculptures as seen on many bridges similar in countries like USA, Australia, Canada, China and beyond. Sydney bridge, San Francisco and Melbourne's West gate bridges are typical examples. Let's beautify our Nation.

    Non of the projects have been completed. Projects that will take any serious country 2 to 3 years to complete is taking Ghana 7 to 8 years! How can you start a road project in 2016 and by 2023 the road is still not complete!

The problem I have with us Ghanaians is we have no maintenance culture in the fiber of our being ,so how can we even maintain these infrastructures??

  • @abby-a

    To be honest I think building a cathedral with all of that money is ridiculous. Why not use the money to build roads in ghana, fix infrastructure, or build a lot of good school in the nation for our kids? it's crazy how when our leaders get money from the West, they spend it on useless stuff. There are a lot of churches in ghana. Why do you need a cathedral? For what??

    • @ericb.1902
      @ericb.1902 ปีที่แล้ว

      These African leaders are not that smart, they have an inferiority complex and they worship the west, they don't have confidence and love for their own nations and that's sad. 😢

    • @angrybritches1854
      @angrybritches1854 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's called neo-Colonialism. I can't believe Africans still bow down to Europeans, & eat their culture like candy. Africans can't grasp the concept of saying "no" to Europeans when money is involved. Embarrassing and sad.

      And there are lots of schools in gh. What's wrong with church building, all those churches u mentioned are one man churches, this one is for the nation ( national cathedral) . Whether u like it or not the church will be built to shame the devil, fooool like u 😂😂😂

      Remember GOD FIRST and HE will add the rest.
      The NATIONAL CATHEDRAL is very very necessary for MOTHER GHANA needs GOD'S intervention now more than ever.

    Most Ghanaians are christians. Just like many cities around the world have both cathedrals and mosques. No one complained when our mosque was being built. Doesn't matter who provided the money for the mosque. The fact of the matter is our muslim community brothers and sisters need it. So l am glad the mosque was built. Now our christian brothers and sisters want their own cathedral, some selfish tribalistic minded people and some people who always complain about everything are again complaining. You want the country to be developed and when the government is doing it you still complain. Dubai is beautiful, almost every Ghanaian speaks about it. Well somebody developed it before it became beautiful just like Akuffo Addo is trying to develop Ghana, so stop talking shit.
