Why in the world would you not be a fan of Rob Machado? He is an amazing surfer, the nicest man, he is very very gracious and humble. When he surfs you can just see how much he loves surfing.

He’s on these tiny boards and being simultaneously radical and effortless to the point of being nonchalant. But this looked just really graceful and relatable to me
I remember surfing Swamis as a kid...hanging out inside catching all the scraps from the old men outside. Rob and his friends would be there sometimes and he was a ripper then. We knew he was going to be well known when he grew up.

rob is not scared to ride different boards in waves that we never would wanna stoop down to equipment wise. A TRUE SURFER. It’s just a feeling anyhow

I know right? My dad always refers to Seaside as "Seaside Trailer Park". I wasn't around to see it but it must have been pretty sweet.
