    Thank you so much! I've learned so much from you over the years and look forward to this broadcast format. Could you address how to encourage parents to give their child outdoor exercise opportunities--seems like my speech/language kiddos need the sensory input from outdoor play that they are not getting.

    This is great information. I was a teen in the 80s. We were taught that brain cells could not be replaced once they were gone. It was used as a war on drugs campaign of sorts. Drugs and alcohol kill brain cells and you can never get them back. But also was sort of used to explain cognitive decline in aging as you naturally lost brain cells over time. All information about the plasticity of the brain helps everyone in society.
