Love these exercises. However I'm not feeling a burn... I'm engaging and squeezing my core as hard as possible. Is it bc my core is so weak it can't activate properly? I usually feel lower back pain even if i just lay there and engage core without doing anything else? I feel like the glute bridge exercises use my heals and glutes rather than core too... Last thing...I do feel slight burn in upper core region but not lower. P.S. I'm 5'8 and 130lb.
Hello! Thank you! Try to go slower, focus on tilting the pelvis and do each rep with control, with the bridges hold at the top 2s and feel the burn. The strength of the core can definitely be the issue of your back and glutes doing all the work! Keep doing this, try less reps, slow.🫶🏽 after few weeks check back in👏🏽👏🏽

For the back pain, you have to press you back on the math. So there is no gap that is why you feel pain, and if you don't feel the burn because if you leave gap between Matt and your back that is why you don't feel the burn on the belly, but back pain 💔 ❤
I don't know what I do wrong but I kinda can't activate my corw muscles. With my exhale I suck my belly in but I don't feel my muscles underneath my belly button. I feel my upper belly and my pelvic floor. What do I do wrong? And I also kinda can't really suck my belly in normally, so without engaging my core. What am I doing wrong or why is it like that?
