    An absolute hoot! Thanks for uploading. Great to see Kevin's more personal, silly, fun nature away from his more serious role hosting Grand Designs.

    If you read Terry Pratchett's ( Him Diamond) last Discworld book, he explains that men all gravitate to the idea of SHED. All men need a shed.

    a lovely sweet story. Yes Kevin you brought out the "inner shed" in everyone; surely we all need a hideaway in the woods- all off grid - with a great view - a hot tub - and a draw bridge of course :) inspiring!

    And to think I hate our winter rain in the Cape (South Africa), what a dreadful place Britain must be! Mid winter here and the sun is shining, a very pleasant 20 degrees C, but beware, it is going to change, rain, high winds, snow on the peaks, floooding, all part and parcel of living in paradise. When summer is here, glorious 30 degrees+, long days in the outdoors, the best wines in the world, the best beef steaks and lamb chops on a fire....what can I say, I love this country!!

    When they said the alpacas had been defleeced, my first thought was that they had their fleas removed.

  • @Firestormlover
    @Firestormlover 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I'm thinking that the 200 hours the weavers estimate includes washing and spinning. Fortunately that alpaca looked lovely clean, so washing the fleece should not take too long. I know that it takes me much longer to spin several hundred yards of yarn than it does to weave it. Though I incline to spin laceweight and that looked a heavy worsted weight..

      +quietthomas Yeah, may be a slight exaggeration. But 4am is reasonable. You'd certainly see the light start to build at 3am in June.

    I can't approve of the alpaca abuse when he can get a perfectly respectable robe at a thrift store. Also the needless destruction of the blown-up shed.

    So, exploding those electrical items so there is bits of toxic material and shards of metal and plastic all over the soil and land, is his idea of a cool way to celebrate the end of htis build? For shame.
