You might want to weld a handle to the roll bar for the passenger so he doesn't lose a hand during a roll or tree branch or... Having a claw for a hand is cool too.
i was thinking the same thing. and build up the cage for safety!
Lower geared does not mean weaker, it will actually have more torque and break crap faster. You were right about it being slower tho. It will climb a cliff like a mt goat being geared that low.
You might wanna be careful about running long distance with it in reverse. I do not know crap about a mule but a lot of transaxles the lube system is only designed to work well in forward. Since you only use reverse for a few moments it doesn't matter.
When I said weaker i was referring to being easier to break something in the rear end not weaker as in power
Hahaha. “Since the mule is designed for a clockwise rotating engine, forward will be reverse, and reverse will be forward... we will have to be easy on it and not try anything too crazy so we don’t break the differential...”. * drags 5600 lb Tahoe for fun. Love it!
Nice. I think it may be better than it was new as far as how it is engineered now. The next video is looking to be awesome, cant wait.

Should have run a jackshaft setup to bring the power to the other side even if you had to lengthen the frame by a few inches

Just cut, drill holes at the top of the cover to keep it cool. That’s what I have done with all my cvt’s. Work like a champ.

Since your using it as a tow rig flip the rear tires around so they grip better. I had those same tires on my yz 125 full suspension manco go cart and when I flipped the tires backwards they would hook anywhere especially running them a few psi low. They will hook turned backwards

I used to work for a auto auction and we had them mules and they was rigged with a Hugh made thng with cilcon stuff in the tires we would push cars in thought the auction and we also pulled alot of trailers with them there awesome
U need some grab bars on the inside i had a biddy roll a buggy holdin on to the rail like lonnie was and it ripped off 2 of his fingers
Should build an oldschool tow truck rig on back. Easier to tow if u have half on the rig. Plus it would just look cool!

You should make this build like a car give it heat and ac maybe a stero windshield and make a plow for the winter some gages like the duce had and give it some doors I think it would be pretty cool

Remember when you swap the diff around because the gears are meshed together the way they are to put all new gears in it

Mod number 2 weld diff. Turning radius will suffer but think of all the places it would go
It has a built in locker on the diff that i forgot to hook up
@@RedBeardsGarage O ok. I was thinking it was suppose to have one. It's kinda odd for one to just be open diff. Couldn't go anywhere. I was thinking surely Kawasaki didn't design that with a diff and no way to make it posi.

Yeah I feel ya. But it's all about what cam setup they use. Cause obviously it great except during the rides. Not much can be done without close to mouth mics During the test drives

Did you try a predator flywheel PTO kit? It would be awesome to see a swap with this mod because you could achieve clockwise rotation.
Put the original tires back on. Now it needs a sound system.
Came out really nice. Low torque is nice, but kinda breaks stuff fast, i wonder if it's able to take the punishment.

Needs a windscreen by the looks of things, and a handle on the inside of the roll cage for the passengers

thats odd. im doing a kawasaki mule set up on a club golf cart and the kawasaki diff is 6+1 forward and 7+1 on reverse

How much do you spend on gasoline a month? Not including your cars
How did you change the drive pulley were it would work without slipping. I’m having the same issue
How big was the original engine?
Is this engine a counter clockwise or clockwise rotation
I just aquirred a mule has over 3k hours engine seems tired.. do you think I can directly swap a predator 420 as a replacement? Just will have to run forward in reverse?
Hey redbeard, please tell me what is better for my sons stage1 212 and tav2 swapped mini quad with 16x8-7 v-tread or knobby tires? I recent got 2 flats with the worn old v-treads it currently has, not to mention they were crap in the snow or mud.

You can reverse 2 strokes. Cant reverse these.
