    Im trying to use this with turntables and scratching but its slightly annoying as it doesnt wrap the sample and i always get a moment of silence at the start of each loop and it makes the loop out of sync - is there anyway around this or do i need to get my cuts to an inhuman level of accuracy and timing ....or get a boss ?

    Blezz, I am wondering if you have a tutorial video or advice on recording from the line in while in song mode? That is super important for my upcoming projects. Great stuff man! Loved the rhymes at the end! I'm hoping to do the looper thing with a little jazz combo I've got going... everyone take turns at the mic... get this Maschine+ out of the studio! Wouldn't it be nice if we could just hold down the delete key when renaming stuff? Or even better, a blank screen when we go to rename anything!

    • @BlezzBeats
      @BlezzBeats  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You GOTTA get that on film! Yeah that would be a bit more intuitive, I get excited about pressing buttons in general haha, but when you rename 8 groups in one sweep it gets a little labory. Voice detection through the mic to spell out words? 😁

    Hello Blezz, Great stuff!
    One Question though, is there an option to loop in "Dubbing mode"?
    Meaning: after i played the 1st loop, i DON'T have to wait again for it to play out, just start another loop immediately?
    Thanks!

      Thank you! It’s been a minute since I used the looper mode so I’d have to double check, but I think you can’t unfortunately. With a few small fixes like that, and jumping in to overdub or record to a track anywhere it would be almost perfect. I will push for it again with their beta program

Question: Do you have any experience with the Akai Force (or MPC in general), and do you think this could function as a suitable audio mangler? @@BlezzBeats ok after fiddling around major, I had somewhat of a break thru last night. Ideally what I want to do is
      Process my mic with OVox, send that out to my zen delay, put a reverb and compressor over the effected signal and then use perform effects but have all that be what the loop sampler receives, while Macroing the reverb n shit on and off. I can do all this in ableton but would be a game changer if I could do this all in box with Maschine. The routing is just difficult to comprehend. One technique I was gonna use was the loop back feature of my Audio interface but of course BIg Sur ruined that capability. Does this sound possible to just do in machine? very interesting! i tried to switch from BOSS RC505 to Ableton, but i couldnt deal with the Latency which appeared by just adding a simple pitch shift effect on my vocals. (even with my RME Babyface @48 samples and 5.94ms overall latency shown in ableton, adding efx to vocal channel creates too much latency for vocal monitoring ruining the timing and fun) It seems you have no latency when adding efx to your mic input. I wonder if that's because Maschine+ is standalone - maybe the MK3 wouldnt work as smoothly without latency? - Also just based on this video i can't see if the Maschine really could replace a RC505 loopstation because: the overview of all the loops going on seems to be missing (rc505 shows the status of all 5 loopers at the same time) - also a direct way of controlling the volume (rc505 has 5 faders) ? Maybe there's a way to address the different maschine loopers via another Midi hardware?... i dont know. AND: Loop length 3,5,6,7 ... isn't even selectable=possible? Or does Loop length = FREE mean that when you make a 2,8 bar long beatbox, it automatically quantizes upwards to a 3 bar loop? I guess not, because usually that is called Looplength "AUTO", which appears to be nonexistant within maschine. Sorrry for my many questions.

  • @kylew706

    Can you trigger the loops from an external device? I’m trying to tie my guitar into my electronic/midi setup. I’m controlling everything from the new Roland fantom, I would love to be able to record my guitar and have different loops triggered with different sequences from the Fantom if that makes sense. • @BlezzBeats
      @BlezzBeats  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @tukudikapup
      @tukudikapup 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BlezzBeats but would that loop then with a pattern, or is that only in the arranger mode? I guess when I’m recording my loops I’d want it to capture the audio earlier than just on the “one” so to speak, and then loop from that point. Being familiar with recording them I know the different loop capture modes, but the editing is the tricky part. Instead of nudging the clip, or sample, I’d want to nudge the audio maybe? Rather complicated to explain.

      If you have your guitar plugged into the Maschine you have it plugged in to the Maschine audio interface. The Maschine interface should be selected in your audio settings, your headphones plugged to the headphone out of the Maschine, and your monitors to your line outputs of the Maschine. The guitar should be plugged into one of the line inputs. I’m not sure if you’re using any other interfaces such as the laptops internal audio or an external interface, but you can’t mix and match, only one can be active at the same time. Next step is to make sure you’re monitoring the input, easiest way is to go into Sampling and turn it on on the 3rd page.
