Other than the strength of the magnet which is stronger with the Horl, the rollers on the Horl are free flowing with no resistance which greatly increases the ease of use.

To be clear, the Tumbler is very similar to the Horl. Not the other way around lol. The Horl is the original and has an active lawsuit against the Tumbler which is a knock-off brand.

Correct, the Horl is the original.
      Thanks for the comment!

So there is no need to wet the stones? Dry sharpen the whole time?

I'm surprised you getting a sharp knife considering you're doing it wrong.

      So, the instructions are wrong?

@@EverythingPractical The honing stone is for taking the burr off (opposite side). First both side with the course stone then start honing on the burr side.

@stesj4 so, I guess you didn't watch the video. Check out minute 3:30-4:30 again.
Sure, you can rough both sides first then hone. Results will be the same.

@@EverythingPractical There you show the wrong method. You should start honing on the burr side.

It won't matter, you need to hone both, then return to the burr side to finish. So, three times.
Actually the directions don't include to hone the burr side once finished.
The directions are coarse side and hone, flip the knife, coarse and hone, then you're done.
