Nice day out Richard, glad you all enjoyed it. For anyone interested- 19th, 20th, & 21st July. Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show. near Preston, Lancs. Traditional country show in beautifull surroundings, always a good day out and well worth a visit.
Brilliant Traditional Country Show Richard, Thanks for taking us there. When I was a little un we used to have tea with my Mums Aunt & Uncle. Poppy Bentley lived with them. A real Lady.
I wish we had country shows like this in the states . They use to have fairs but more carnival , with rids and games instead of farming . Loved the roster , but not practical . A old land Rover . Saw the first one on a documentary about Africa in the sixty's , just a kid . Thought it was the best vehicle . Tractors , I wonder how they where to drive all day on your body . Love that artist very good . Thankyou for interviewing her .marvelous work . Thankyou lovely video on this farm show .you always do a nice review for these things .
Do love the traditional shows. You were looking at the 135, and I was trying to get a look at the F100 beside it. That was the first vehicle I drove on the road after getting my license at 16(44 years ago)
You have brought back fond memories for me! Many years ago when we went for that rare family day out (Usually a Sunday) we always had to make it back for the milking!! Many Thanks !!!
Nice video, thanks for stirring up memories, I was bought up in Woodford near to Berkeley and worked for Massey Ferguson for forty years from 1970, working on the MF500 series launch was fun!
Good morning Richard and family, What a wonderful day just talking a stroll around the show I hope you all had a wonderful day. You all take care of yourself and stay safe.🚜🚜⭐️👍👌☀️☀️.
At least you had a show to go to the Chiltern Steam rally was cancelled due heavy overnight rain Friday/ Saturday and a poor forecast for the rest of the weekend.
Local shows are the best 👌... the old landy would be my choice... but iv already got 2 😮.. Bentley would be nice but would need to sell it after a while for some new farm equipment 🙂🙃.. (somthing I could maintain) 🤣 stay safe 🏴

Approx 170 Balloons I reckon...

I think the cab on the 135 at the show is a sta dri cab. Not seen one on an mf before but David browns used that cab a lot in the sixties

they help to empty your wallet.
Why didn't you take Buddy? He would have loved it.
