I love the beginning of this video. Feels like a movie is about to start 😊 The best so far 👍 Sorry for what happened to you that day. I salute your positive outlook on things. Well done! Hi Petey!
Joel...you're a good mechanic! I don't know how long Pete has been working on farm equipment (I bet it's been a while) but keep him close. This man has a natural knack with mechanical devices....don
Well Joel after watching you today, i can honestly say CONGRATULATIONS on knowing how to use your tools and knowing when your equipment needs help. No matter how you service those behemoth giants they are like Rolls Royces, they don’t break down but sometimes refuse to run.🤪 BTW you mentioned your viewers being concerned about your heart. I thought I watched every video you have put out and i don’t remember any mention of heart issues for you. Did i miss something???
at this time 1995 views and only 547 likes, c'mon guys, if you watch it like it..really helps the channel..now thats off my chest🤣 Joel you did such a great job keeping it together under duress, so frustrated for you. Love the horses and donkeys...miss Gavin, Love Pete
Good to see your dad around. We don't get to see him much. I laughed when you said you passed a skunk on his way home. I may not have been visualizing this correctly, but did the skunk think "I need to get home, let me run through this barn to get there?" I'd freak out if I saw a skunk in the barn. 😂 Sorry about your bad day. You know what they say - God gives us bad days sometimes so we can appreciate the wonderful ones, although I know you already appreciate them because of those beautiful shots of things like sunrise and sunset. We'll have to ask God to send you equipment mercy. I hope your hay-cutting venture turned out much better!
😂 sometimes I watch you guys I swear I don't know how you did anything done you always fixing something! Lol I don't know just amazes me you get anything done at all!😂 Have a great rest of whatever day you have left! Lol
4:30a.m.?…requires COFFEE! LOTSA coffee..!😂. Good video. Laura over on Garden Answers had a day like yours as welll….”anybody else having a bad day?…. Lol. Yah…Joel!
Tough day on the farm, very sorry you had so much trouble with the “hay machine” But am hopeful the next day went well! Farmers have to be so knowledgeable about everything! A very long and tiring day for you, sure hope you got a good nights sleep 💤
We all some times wonder if we didn’t have Bad Luck, we wouldn’t have Any Luck at all. You keep the Faith and know that Tomorrow will be a Better Day. 👍🙏
Joel, none of us have any right to tell you not to complain. You can complain as much as you want, especially if you are making a plan to fix the problem! Remember, we make plans and God laugh at us, so nothing always goes according to our plans and that's OKAY! You're a hard worker and we all appreciate you for it.
Way to go Joel, you got it fixed. I’m sorry it took you all day to fix it. You stayed calm and focused on what you had to do. You are always so positive.❤
Hi Joel, I love seeing the horses, but I have cousins who farm in Iowa and some have been seriously injured by farm equipment and operator negligence. Please, dot all your "i's and cross all of the "t"s on your safety checklist. Pets to Tucker, he is my favorite! Hugs to the rest of the family!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Joel Joel in the hospital world and law enforcement/firemen world you never mention the words slow or boring and never say nothing else bad will happen!
Joel, Murphys law applies to everyone and everything. You just never know; all you can do is to do preventative maintenance and even then, something is bound to break or not go the way expected.
I love it Joel!! "Sometimes you guys think I'm complaining, this time I am complaining!" I never think you are complaining Joel.. you are just explaining most of the time, but I'm glad you cleared that up! LOL
Joel, you facinate me. Did you study auto automotive repair in HS? Your familiarity with diagnosing and repairing the comlicated machines is astonishing. No fear....just take it apart and put it together. Using the terms farmer and stable manager is an understatement. Is this what they call Jack of All Trades?
Joel you and Pete work well together. He also seems to help keep everyone around him calm. Awesome trait to have. Great video ! As always, see you in the next one.
Good catch on the cutter bar. Some days things just seem to always go backwards. I like your philosophy of what gets done gets done. There is another day coming. :)
If you don’t steam clean the hay cutter now fixed you will show it that it is not loved power wash those blades and let it dry the disk bend will love it. The new trailer will do great.
Nice trailer Joel a little bit pricy for us up here in Canada at $2400.00 plus government taxes but still none the less great idea for your farm. Oh and let's not forget great job on fixing the disc bind I'm sure it was nice to have Pete there lending you a hand or two lol.
Great to see your dad! We've seen your mom a couple of times lately and it has been great to see her doing so well. And now we have seen your dad too!!!!
Carry an old large towel or table cloth, to lay under the cutting bar, to catch the parts, saves time when looking for a part, no need to search through the grass
Joel, i bet you wont be saying that ever again. Keep up the good work. Also, you should have a gaven day where he shows us what he does and the day in the life of working with you guys!
Good morning Joel. Have you ever thought about having a horse camp.? You know, a person interested in having a horse, paying you for a week of taking care of a horse with everything that’s involved in the daily care. You provide a camper or tiny bunkhouse, food and lessons for….Say $450 for a week?
Maybe in the future you could put a hydraulic cylinder on the new trailer to automate the dump process, so you could do it from the seat of the tractor.
What a start to the day 😐😐😐😐 BUT it finished on a high note due to your perseverance 👏👏👏👏👏 Always a pleasure to see your DAD and Petey ❤ Joel WELL DONE 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Love from the UK x
Man, Joel, you definitely jinxed yourself when you said there would be no more problems! I can only imagine how frustrated you were. But you were very productive anyway, taking care of the horses, manure, etc. I'm hoping all is well with you now.
Yeah, I appreciate the lack of "music" in the video. It just isn't what I am looking for in a video. I like hearing the horses, tractors, you all of that. On a funny aside, I just watched Otto Kilcher of the Alaska Homesteaders show that was on tv, he is on TH-cam and Eiven has another channel, but Otto was working on his "discbine machine like yours, only his is decades older. I thought it was interesting that you and Alaska are mowing about the same time.

Joel, You’re going to make a great father some day. Teach your children.
You sure get up early in the morning, it was still dark outside !! You sure seem to love mowing and taking care of all the hay !! 😀😀
Gosh!!! Tuff day!! Still the video was great!!! All the emotions were well executed!! The mower lives….. to die another day 😂…
First time watching you, Joel. Great video. We are so happy to have 3 veggie boys videos to watch now.
I love the beginning of this video. Feels like a movie is about to start 😊 The best so far 👍 Sorry for what happened to you that day. I salute your positive outlook on things. Well done!

Good job with getting everything back in running order Joel and Gavin great job on the editing. Thats right I'm saying it!
Well Joel after watching you today, i can honestly say CONGRATULATIONS on knowing how to use your tools and knowing when your equipment needs help. No matter how you service those behemoth giants they are like Rolls Royces, they don’t break down but sometimes refuse to run.🤪

Joel you will get jinxed for saying that . 😂😂laugh. Joel fix the grass mower . Maintenance on machine’s is no fun but things happen. Nice wagon Joel .

Suggestion... carry a magnetic bowl/plate to place your bolts in while you work on the machines.. Get one for each tractor.
I love Pete!

Joel, sending you a great big hug. What a crappy day you had but you got it sorted with your perseverance. Well done you.😊
Tough day on the farm, very sorry you had so much trouble with the “hay machine” But am hopeful the next day went well! Farmers have to be so knowledgeable about everything! A very long and tiring day for you, sure hope you got a good nights sleep 💤

Thanks for answering my question about the wheat 😁
The new trailer is pretty cool. You can haul Gavin and Pete around the grounds.
Great job today!! Still liking your beard and please tell your dad he looks great in his goatee!!
Joel, none of us have any right to tell you not to complain. You can complain as much as you want, especially if you are making a plan to fix the problem! A Stable Life and The Veggie Boys have become like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups - two great things that go great together.
I love that
Good to see your dad/little brother.
You’re a gem Pete.
Great video 👍👍

There are those days, which can go sideways, but congrats to you, for focusing, and fixing, what needs to be done. Thanks also to Pete, you rock!👍👏
Joel Joel in the hospital world and law enforcement/firemen world you never mention the words slow or boring and never say nothing else bad will happen!
I love your videos. So don't want anything to happen to you or your family
I just want to say I think it's awesome how you guys befriended Petey, and give him some things to do. Keep it up.
Joel, Murphys law applies to everyone and everything. You just never know; all you can do is to do preventative maintenance and even then, something is bound to break or not go the way expected.
I love it Joel!! "Sometimes you guys think I'm complaining, this time I am complaining!"
I never think you are complaining Joel.. you are just explaining most of the time, but I'm glad you cleared that up! LOL
Joel bud Ive never had a repair job turn out to be a simple fix. It takes a few days, three or four parts trips, hopefully not an er visit!
Good to see your Dad.
O Joel never say ,from here on everything will just be fine ,😅,see you next time stay well and safe .🤗💚☘️
North East Pennsylvania. Been there done that. Last time in the USA 2016. I'll stop by next time im in the USA. Don't hold your breath...
Joel you and Pete work well together. He also seems to help keep everyone around him calm. Awesome trait to have.
Great video ! As always, see you in the next one.
we love Andrew
You are too kind
I start bolts by hand or with a flat wrench, then finish with the impact driver. It’s easy to cross thread bolts with the driver.
Good catch on the cutter bar. Some days things just seem to always go backwards. I like your philosophy of what gets done gets done. There is another day coming. :)
while you are working on the knife, I shall watch the woods to see if sasquatch or anyone else comes running out with bad intentions.
Thanks for the video !
If you don’t steam clean the hay cutter now fixed you will show it that it is not loved power wash those blades and let it dry the disk bend will love it. The new trailer will do great.
If any city folks ever wondered what a farmer's tan looks like, check out Joel's Dad.
Good to know I was not the only one who thought that about Dad J. LOL. Also noticed he lost the beard.
Lol, so true. My farrier always has that manly tan.
Nice trailer Joel a little bit pricy for us up here in Canada at $2400.00 plus government taxes but still none the less great idea for your farm. Oh and let's not forget great job on fixing the disc bind I'm sure it was nice to have Pete there lending you a hand or two lol.
🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
Always innovating
Aww frustrating to say the least. Glad to see you smiling at the end. Good to see Pete and your dad!
JOEL you were wrong ! LOL
Your dad has an excellent goatee
It definitely works for him.
Takes many skill sets ,discipline and. drive to make a À good farmer .Joel leads the the way ...Salute..i would share my fox whole with him any time
Joel things aren't always like that. Pete seemed to cheer you up a bit. Here is to hay harvest with no more issues.
Wow! What a great video. Thanks for taking us along. Love how you mix it up with the horses, donkeys, and the field work. Thanks!
Stopped again today, finally met Gavin, now I need to meet Petey.
Great to see your dad! We've seen your mom a couple of times lately and it has been great to see her doing so well. And now we have seen your dad too!!!!
Joel when these things happen you almost wonder if horses and mower would be better.
I mean you have plenty of horsepower.
If you were to consider making more stalls, where would you possibly put them?
I love seeing Petey.
U need outside lights
Carry an old large towel or table cloth, to lay under the cutting bar, to catch the parts, saves time when looking for a part, no need to search through the grass
I tell my roommate that all the time.😊
I love it when your mom & dad appear on your videos!!

Joel, manure happens! Better luck tomorrow 👍👍👍
As you do work so often on machinery...maybe some rubber mats on the ground to give you a more comfortable way to work should be considered.
Joel, i bet you wont be saying that ever again. Keep up the good work. Also, you should have a gaven day where he shows us what he does and the day in the life of working with you guys!
Good to see Petey again. He is so cute. (don't worry Petey I have great grandkids but you remind me so much of my oldest grandson.)
He’s been helping the veg boys
Wow, what a tough day. Hope tomorrow is a better one for you.
Good morning Joel. Have you ever thought about having a horse camp.? You know, a person interested in having a horse, paying you for a week of taking care of a horse with everything that’s involved in the daily care. You provide a camper or tiny bunkhouse, food and lessons for….Say $450 for a week?

Joel, Stuff happens, great job on getting it back ready to go. Well done
Oops! ❤❤
To Joel and a stable life I love today's title for your video.
A new day will bring a new field to mow !!
What a start to the day 😐😐😐😐 BUT it finished on a high note due to your perseverance 👏👏👏👏👏 Always a pleasure to see your DAD and Petey ❤ Joel WELL DONE 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Love from the UK x
So glad all your hard work was worth it!
Bless you, glad you got it all fixed. Life just has to throw you a curve ball once in a while. Really enjoy all your video's.
How do you decide which horse goes into which fields? I noticed Argento has moved.
All about what happens, what happens/reactions when things break. Fix It!
I hope all veggie boy subscribers subscribe to your channel
Me too
Welp Sheet happens boyo it'll be just fine in time. 🎉🍻
Good Day to ALL.
Bro!! You should change your cam angle when driving over bumps in your tractor!! Kosmo Kramer designed a "manzier" you may want to look into...😂
Man, Joel, you definitely jinxed yourself when you said there would be no more problems! I can only imagine how frustrated you were. But you were very productive anyway, taking care of the horses, manure, etc. I'm hoping all is well with you now.
Hang in there Joel
Question: why do you feed hay in the stalls if they have access to their grain there and hay and grass when they go back outside?
Probably to help keep them calm or busy until let out time
Do you mill any wheat for bread, roll or pastries? Wheat flour makes wonderful bread.
These new so-called modern machines are a lot more trouble than the old fashioned ones.

If you could overcome copyright, your music today would be “On The Road Again.”
Hi ya from Virginia ✋
Is Peter working on the Farm now?
Pete when you going to have a channel?
I still think I'd turn off the 120. But I'm just like that.I don't trust anyone or machinery
