This music is so brilliant as it gives off a great sense of holy glory like a thousand angels are singing in the Halls of Heaven in triumph knowing that the spawn of Satan has finally been destroyed.
@@batsoup3504 Yep, Jesus is supposed to be born a child again according to the film, though there is a verse that appears at the end that says, he will not be born as a child but will appear in glory, so maybe the whole baby thing was a subterfuge. Too many questions though.
The Omen 4 is just laughable and unbelievable, and totally contradicts the ending of the Final Conflict. It's called "final" for a reason. I like that the Omen is commonly seen as The Omen Trilogy. I hope IV was classed as a made-for-TV film and NOT a sequel. I watch it sometimes for a laugh as it's included in the DVD set I got, but for me the best part by far is this ending, with its triumphant music and Bible verse from Revelation.

Not omen related….but this was the theme that I was playing when watching my football team Liverpool won the premier league title for the first time in 30 years
The Exorcist DID end with victory over the demon. Fr Karras took the demon out the window with him in an act of Christlike self-sacrifice. Regan is immediately released from possession. God, Christ, Good...and Damien Karras win, and "Pazuzu" loses. Plain and simple.
I like in the documentary about the making of this Jack Palance who was narrating said the ending was filmed just outside London it was filmed nowhere near London it was filmed at fountains abbey in Yorkshire which is is about 300 miles from London. I'm from dover and even I know that. But off course yanks think everywhere in Britain is near London
I remember seeing this when I was very young and asking my Mum if that was actually the end of the series. She said 'Sort of.' 🤭🤣 I regrettably saw IV years later and they definitely should have finished it here. I always thought Damien choked DeCarlo to death so I was a little puzzled at the ending at the time.
Someone help me out here. How is it that Damien died when he was supposed to be stabbed on an altar which he wasn’t and supposed to be killed by all 7 daggers but just one did. And the priests tried to assassinate Damien even though they were supposed to do it at a church or Holy Ground. This doesn’t make sense really
The priest hands the boy to his mom...and then the priest and the mom exit - without the kid! If it was Jesus who handed over the kid, what's the point of handing over a DEAD kid??? The scene is incoherent.
Great Goldsmith spiritual musical score - one of a kind, unless we count his Lilies of the Field and The Trouble With Angels. But WTF is this final scene supposed to be saying??? Jesus has returned, death has been defeated and ... I guess the priest carries the dead son to the mom, who takes him in her arms. And ... then what? The next scene shows mom and priest exiting the ruins WITHOUT THE KID! So did Jesus NOT restore the boy to life? If not, why not? Or if Jesus DID resurrect the kid, where did the boy go? Makes zero sense to me...
By the way everyone there is something i just don't get it who is nazarener in the first place ik there is god Satan Jesus Christ and the anti Christ but i never heard of nazarener before is he a famous deity in heaven or something
Liked this movie even though it goes against the Torah, because according to Rabbinical Pharasaic Judaism the Creator of Heaven and Earth and all that resides in them has no rival since the Creator is not a person And darkness predates light then, EL predates Creation In the Torah, it is forbidden to teach that the Creator has children, even though in the Canaanite religions he had 70 Sons 9f which Yahwen was one of the 70 and he had a wife But in the Torah, Isra'El becomes his adopted son, which according to the Anthropomorphic language
The sad & tired thing about these kind of movies is that they all proceed from the flawed premise that God is good, whereas a critical reading of scripture will very quickly and very clearly show the opposite.
Kind of a lame ending. Earlier in the movie Damien tells his followers to kill the Nazarene, referring to Jesus. I guess in this story-line, Jesus becomes a baby again, which makes no damn sense, then in this scene Jesus is suddenly all grown up or something, and the mother of the young boy stabs Damien and kills him. Clearly Damien barely skimmed it as well. The quote from scripture (I’m no expert so I have no clue if it’s legitimate or made up like the scripture in the origina film) right at 0:37 reveals his crucial mistake, he was never meant to look for a child, but he did anyway and fell into a trap of sorts, what a moron 🤣 I think the film is OK and has some stunning moments, but much of it is nonsensical silliness. At least it’s visually pleasing and Sam Neill is having fun.
As a Christian it definitely brings tears to your eyes. Love love the soundtrack.

Brilliant. Jerry Goldsmith is so missed. I cannot even comprehend how much joy his talent brought to my life and the lives of others.
Amen to that. I can summon up marvelous and varied music in my mind from his incredible career whenever I want to.
Always loved the way Jesus diadem explodes with light when he raises his arms.
That is so right! Without Mr. Goldsmith's music, these movies wouldn't be half as scary as they are!
