J-31 hasn’t been offered for export over the years because it was in prototype phase which currently in its final prototype phase hence PAF has approached.
It does have Baked stealth, and all latest features.
And just to spoil your fun, Pakistan hasn’t left TFX program so you will see combo of TFX and J-31 on your western borders.
It’s not about 5th Generation aircraft induction, 5 Gen Aircraft required pre established ecosystem to absorb such next level of Tech.
This particularly means that Pakistan has already achieved that.
Even if India start thinking about inducting 5th Generation Aircraft right away, it would still take several more years if not a decade.
It was an incomplete project of china in 2012 to counter US f22 but was somehow paused or we can say cancelled. But china also needs j31 marine varient for its carrier and on paks 5 th gen jet demant will be completed soon and will be available in PAF till 2026
But i think it may be 4.5+ gen or 5 gen who knows👍

@@aamerjamal don't make fool of yourself. Pakistan has just 8.3 billion $ foreign reserves. Without dollars no country will sell anything to Pakistan. Pakistani airforce facing difficulty to maintain existing j-17 and F-16 fleet as there is no dollars to bring spare part for maintenance.
In 6.1 billion $ defence you can buy nothing. Operation and maintenance of weapons is not possible with such low money, forget new defence purchases. Pakistan maintains 6 lakh active force , most of the money goes in expensive protocols of generals & core commanders , Salery & pension.
Pakistan armed forces need an annual 18-20 billion $ defence budget to meet current internal and external challenges . Without minimum routine use & maintenance of existing weapons all Pakistan weapons will become junk in the next 3-4 years.

If 8.2 billion $ foreign reserves makes Pakistan govt rich then how much India is rich ? India's foreign reserves are 623 billion $. Imagine purchasing power of the Indian govt. The Indian govt receives 125 billion $ annually as foreign remittance. India is a net donor country.

We should on board AMCA in Misson mode. Till then we should consider SU57 as a stop gap measure before AMCA induction. I know Su57 is not a true 5th gen fighter. But it is truly a great air superiority fighter. In my opinion reduce the number of Su30 MKI from 272 to 182 and purchase 90 or 5 squadron of Su57 which will be specially modified for Air dominance mission.
Look I'm not underestimating capability of Su30, it will still dominate Pakistani J10 and F16. But when it comes to China it is behind in capability significantly from their J20. Which is again not a true 5th gen fighter. But I think Su57 is ahead in capability from J20. So if we purchase 4-5 squadron, it will definitely dominating Chinese airspace.
Subsequently we may push Russia for 100% TOT and NOC from OEM, so that we can modify weapons, sensors, radars of Su57 where it lags in capability. It's completely my opinion 😊
