I was just about to write the exact same comment but I new I couldn’t of been the only 1 to write it, so I scrolled down and it was in the top comments lol. X
I like how in movies cops are always like "Yeah we know the vigilante is after the same serial killer we have been looking for but our primary target number 1 is bringing in the vigilante! Trying to do our job, fvck that guy"
This isn't just any vigilante though it's "Forma DCI John LUUUTHAA" if you watch the show the seem to consider him just as dangerous as a psycho killer
I saw no motivation why they were so keen on capturing him, even if it meant letting the baddie get away. But I haven't seen the show either so I guess this was lacking a lot if context.
@@VikingTeddybecause if they don't capture him then it emboldens others to do the same and it gives the impression that the cops will just look the other way then what will eventually happen is someone who is innocent will be killed
Just to clarify, in the first fire (2:40) the other parents did indeed escape the fire. This is implied later when the police ask them if a mysterious man with an absurd haircut (David the psychopath) approaches them in the consoling group as a post-mortem "modus operandi". Now for the prison break out (4:08), knowing the system, Luther needs a window outside of the prison to give his friend Dennis the opportunity to grab him out. I mean the transfer can be done for any of the inmates who experienced an explicit assassination attempt; what he accomplishes with his fellow cops is to make that posibility happen, he just needs to survive it. The fights are between too raw and too processed; meh at best, too chaotic, this only gives us the idea that Luther is a sturdy guy, difficult to take down for sure. If you notice, he's not certain it's Dennis's crew until he reveals himself, worrying that the psycho got him first, I mean "one call gets you in, one call gets you out." The whole plot is about the window of traceability (24 hours for the radio frequency & the burn phone, even Georgette), which means that the psycho makes a BIG (BIG as a movie) mistake in thinking that Luther is now a domesticated lion. He goes all the "vigilante" theme just to catch him and avenge the broken promise to Corinne in the process. Now can all of the transfer paperwork and reallocation schedule happen within the timeframe? maybe is faster if you were a Chief Inspector. The psycho's escape (7:30) is indeed outrageous, 3% chance of that outcome happening (sources: believe me bro). But in his defense the psycho didn't have to be in that position in the first place, the news of Luther's escape was heard by Archie (the later-revealed spy-target victim of the psycho's malevolent plan to be one step ahead). After the escape, the movie brings up this issue in dialogues. I guess they needed the scene to be more action-wise. This poor writing decision was costly for the final grade. Maybe he thought it could compromise his position if he spoke too soon, but at least if he has spoken you give some concrete reason to Luther and Raine to protect Georgette after their departure to Norway. The correlation (8:00) is not guessed randomly as a plot device. The police state first that the people who jumped from the roof come from the richer 1%. Now Luther puts the pieces together and figures out how David got him in prison in the first place, he knows this psycho uses information as power, which can be translated as ransom or blackmailing by the slogan "The fear of shame & being caught is way more powerful than the fear of death", so with enough hackers, your budget increases exponentially with the problem that it can catch the attention of the police, and it did, but they were at the end of the beginning of the master plan (the "Red Room"), so a little attention is foreseen. The whole "seeing the true intentions of people" that Luther claims to have only comes in handy on one occasion, Martin also seems to have it because he knows who's the snitch just by the smell (body language), and Raine hopefully uses it in the "Raine not killing Luther" bit that puts them together for the crusade, a plot device activated by the morality of humanity. In conclusion: What we have here is a master plan in the making, with enough holes to be shredded apart, the biggest one being Georgette used by the chaos agent point of view of an EX-cop giving LIGHT on a case hence LUTHER The FALLEN SUN. (8/10) After the death of the snitch, the rest is a way to begin the master plan that is falling apart as time passes without the unalive of any good guy. Too many questions, not worth my time, 4/10 because they tried + an open ending. Total: 6/10 PD: love your videos, mostly the jokes. Cheers and comment if I miss something PD2: Other questions: Why & How it was so easy to kidnap the girl? Big salary for a cheap ass security system in a cheap ass location... Why use your true information when you are consoling your victims's families? Ego problem... We didn't get to see what happens with all of the hackers who search for possible targets. Maybe a new head is formed? All Chief Inspectors need to have the trait of "seeing the true intentions of people"? If Luther acted after the traceability window was closed, can the psycho be apprehended in the short run? With Georgette yes. Without her...in the long run absolutely, but after some Twitch livestreams if you know what I mean.
it does actually redirect any 911 calls to 999, same with a lot of other emergency numbers, they do this so that foreigners will get help even in an environment they're unfamiliar with.
Yeah industry workers work for a lifetime, without making room for any other talent.. havent you noticed every movie has sucked since the early 2000's?
He can't bring it back since these recaps are recorded by the team and he can only narrate but it seems like they dont allow him to add the intro anymore
6:18 among the material gathered for blackmail, several people are listed as having “racist social media” - that’s how you know this plot would never fly in America, you try to blackmail them with it and they’d just be like “so what? being racist is my constitutional right!” haha
how you black mail someone by saying i know your screen shot of porno and i tell everyone if you dont come here in 15 mins, i be like ok so what isnt that normal, and how you let a man acting dead come up behind , what if the guy never turns around and always look at you till the cops gets there , dont seem like a good plan, this would never work in real life
then explain to me the master plan of playing dead, then sneak attack him while he turns around on phone, that has a 20 percent chance to even work, he could run away or look at him till police comes but at a distance, or just drive off , you have to agree that was the worst plan ever to sedate someone comeon@@Ziggified
David and his absurd haircut dig up dirt...extreme pettiness. I am here for it. Luther receives a letter with 65.8, which he understands is a radio frequency, (because what the hell else would it be?)
