Looks like there is more to Sturgis than the "Buffalo Chip shenanigans" that Sturgis is notorious for. 🙂 What a fantastic trip. I can see why you wanted to document this. It surely checked the box off on this bucket list item. Thanks for sharing this video with us.
We actually went over to the Buffalo Chip on a rainy afternoon (I had my truck with me too so it was nice when the weather wasn't ideal). We pulled into the parking lot.. saw the chaos and disorganization of the entire place.. and continued on our way. We didn't even park and check it out. I probably would've enjoyed that chaos in my younger years... but now that we're "adults"... this trip was more about the riding than it was the parties - and I'm completely ok with that. 🙂
Side note... I probably should've checked with my wife before editing this video. She had a bunch more photos and video clips on her phone that would've been great to include.

@@pcthayer I actually arrived 5 days before the rally (on a Monday). My wife flew in on Friday to meet me and my buddy also arrived on Friday. The riding during the 4-5 days before the official start of the rally was amazing. It still had the rally "vibe" but it wasn't overly crowded yet. If I do it again.. I'd probably arrive even a few days sooner than I did.. and I'd probably only stay thru the first weekend of the rally.
