I was kind of locked on the fact that the Stifle is already making it impossible for my opp to win on the crack back due to stifling the Treetop activation, so I ended up missing actual lethal right then and there, haha
Always love to see some Argenought action! I wonder if Brain Freeze isnt just too cute. I have watched all videos on your channel and I dont remember it coming up clutch even once in a game. Even this game vs UW you had 2 rotting in hand and u didnt cast them anyway. It's probably much better vs Standstill, but still it feels extremely situational (like a counterwar and then you still need to have 2-4 mana up?). And UW is like the only MU you really want it? I just wonder if this is worth sacrificing 2 SB slots.
It's the very first time that I'm actually trying it out. In the past I tried only 1 copy, and I think that if you're going to play only 1 then you might as well play none. As a 2 of it's a good plan vs Standstill and any control deck, and vs the mirror and other stuff like Stasis. I think it's worse than Armageddon in the deck overall, but wanted to try 2 copies here. I think BF is a good plan, but what it's unclear is whether it's the best possible use for the 2 sb slots.
That sounds like a lot of fun, actually! Only issue I see is that the mana would be basically non functional for multiple colored decks, so you'd need to make a rule that allows decks to have 4 copies of lands that tap for mana (if you also want to allow 4 copies of Wasteland/Port and stuff like that then that's also reasonable, but that's up to you)
@@fpawluszmtg there is a group that plays singleton dual lands and its fine. Makes it so you have to rely more on basic lands in a three color deck which is part of the fun and challenge. There will be also be more diverse decks with restricted duals. Otherwise, everyone can build the same 5-color deck with 4 of each dual land and that would be lame and get stale quick.
Thank you! I am a huge Landstill fan, and have had good results with the deck. I have many decks that I want to play these days, but I can promise that you will be seeing Landstill content in this channel soon enough!
You could stifle the +1+1 of mishra for winning that turn at the end of match 1

I recently uploaded a video of a mirror match where brain freeze was key for winning.

Great content Fran!
Thanks Dave! You don't choose the 12/12 life, it chooses you!
You guys should do singleton decks in this format! Im going to start making singleton decks and try to create a scene around singleton decks 💪🏻😎

There are multiple ways to go about it and try! Definitely a fun thing to explore!@@tcgmetaslayer4202
G2 against burn 59 cards deck? 7 hand and 52 library?
Whoa, you're right! It must be a bug cause I submitted 60 cards, but it's pretty funny
@@fpawluszmtg suppose you didn't realize at the end of sideing you got 59 main, 16 sideboard cards
Lol, I totally didn't realize it. I didn't even know you could do that in Freeform.@@PremodernMTGO
