I spend endless hours in this game. I recorded some music while wandering around this beautiful world. This is my favourite game of all time.
Makes you realise how much time and effort goes into making a game like this. Too bad most of this music will go underappreciated.
I think this is the only game that got me just roaming around doing absolutely nothing but enjoying the scenery and the music literally for HOURS.

@superentertainment9658 I have played Ghost and still play Legends mode everyday to this day. It definitely has that feeling of loneliness and it was a really fun experience playing through the story
Skyrim is the first one and only roam and lollygagging game you could ever play with infinite quest unlike horizons is not. In my opinion Skyrim is the best roaming game!

Starting from about 50:08 is the most iconic one for HZD exploration... part of my childhood forever.
I know how you feel. I remember wandering around the desert on a sunset and it came on. I was in awe. Froze there and just took it all in.

It's beautiful... I finally got all the NG+ weapons and DLC coils (gained the beautiful Pristine weapon coil x11 times through speedruns after my first 100% playthrough of everything) so now not only i'm completely free to roam in the endless beautiful open-world map, but by putting a NG+ on Easy, with all the 12 aquired Pristine coils, now i can also kill anything i want and one-shot most machines with the adept icerail or the 4 adept powershot bows i bought throughout my 11 speedruns.
Now, i can rest while playing this game while relaxing...
@@LittleMopeHead it always kicks in near Meridian for me for some reason, I had Aloy stood at the top of a mesa looking out at the jungle with a Thunderbird flying around in the background for probably 5-10 minutes just standing there. this game is such a vibe.

Finishing my third playthrough of this game tomorrow and it's literally some of the most fun I have ever had in a video game. Story, gameplay, mechanics, lore, characters, they are all incredible. Easily top 5 games of all time for me

13:45 i think i found it! This played right after sylens rescues you from the fighting pit. It sounds so sad and bittersweet, reminds me of a journey approaching the end. So good!

Tume I the name of the track is “A Wanderer’s Work” on the original ost but this is a slightly different variation from it :)

I wish we had more of this kind of music in Forbidden West. FW has superb music but the music playing during free roaming doesn't give that magical feeling like in Zero Dawn. I think that's what I missed the most in FW, but It's absolutely beautiful nonetheless

This game's soundtrack is far more superior to forbidden west because it embodies the great sadness of the story that is unveiling before us as we progress through.
Aloy is also a loner in this one and doesn't yet have that 'savior of the world' role. A far less dense game than FW which makes exploration and going for strolls much more enjoyable.

So, I know that 11:47 music has another version in which the violin is more audible and more loud, and you can hear it multiple times at the start of the adventure. First time when Kid Aloy goes to hunt with her father and another time when she leaves the Nora land. I think I gave enough precise information so if anyone could help me find that music, I'll be really grateful. It's been 1y since I've been looking for it...

You say this is not in the original OST. But is there a way to get that one at 44:57? I always immediately noticed when this was starting to play, it's my favorite of all the ambiente soundtracks.
To be honest - I don't know where to get that tracks elsewhere unfortunately, that's why I spend over 15 hours just exploring with all of the sound turned off except music. This was very time consuming and I still couldn't find a lot of tracks I was hoping for...
