Porsche has correctly followed the rule that say: in a two tone interior, the lighter color should not appear above the steering wheel. I’m looking at you, Toyota.
I am actually thinking that this will be my next vehicle.. I had a 2019 Cayenne which I loved, and Audi Q5 now which is boring as f-ck, and this vehicle really hits the spot for me. I have to see how bad the economy gets between now and May....
I've only had BMWs in the past, but I have to say Porsche as a brand is attractive to me. I'm interested in the Macan, but I feel as though the BMW X3 lineup might be better value and the better buy at the moment.
I’ve owned 6 Porsches, including 2 Macans. I got tired waiting for Porsche to update Macan styling and electronics and went for BMW X6. Slightly less road feel but two generations ahead of Macan in interior finish and electronics. Macan and Cayenne have become soccer mom faves in my area.
I’ve been trying to convince my wife that this is the next car we need to buy but she isn’t convinced. The only other option I can think of is heading down to Porsche SLC and have her test drive one 😂
They nailed the exterior of this car! The interior however does seem outdated. A new ford lariat ultimate has as many or more features than this! Although it’s a beautiful suv.
That interior feels way outdated than the newish Cayenne. Porsche needs to update Macan asap. 2024 model price will dive big time if they update next year.
I drove a base Macan as a service loaner and I was impressed that the base engine had sufficient power overtaking on the motorway and taking off from a standstill. IMO it has plenty of power and torque for every day city driving.
I had a 2017 Macan S. It was great but started to leak oil from the timing chain cover. The screws heads simply fell off. Porsche had know about this issue for years prior to 2017 but did nothing to address (stronger screws or low torque setting). Too bad but it was an engine out repair. I have no confidence they addressed this issue.
A Porsche mechanic said in a comment on one of the Macan cideos from another channel said that it was just replacing those screws you mentioned…that it took less than 2 hours to do the fix/job…said that it was in a bulletin sent out by Porsche to technical/dealer staff maybe. Can’t remember which video. Been watching too many Macan S/GTS lately don’t care about the EV version.
Lol I wonder how many of the “men” on these Macan threads who say their wife got one or wants one are afraid to admit they want it or got it 🤔 😂 so fragile they are
the b58 is probably a slightly better engine, its considered an all time great. However, the refinement of the macan (build quality, materials, design elements that maintain function over form such as physical controls etc) transmission, and the handling is far superior.
My wife wants the Macan S/GTS. I will only settle for a Carrera T, Cayman GTS 4.0 or Cayman GT4. BTW, did you get any footage of that Black 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe (964)? It is listed there at Porsche SLC for a staggering *_$1,195,999!_* In fact, they have five different classic Porsche's for sale at the Salt Lake City dealership. I would love to see a review on _any_ of them! Stay classy my friend.
I love how porsche just sits in its own category.
So much $$ but they make great stuff. I always struggle with the value prop for Porsche, but keep coming back for the quality and performance.

Have you seen the economy? 🤔
Its bad- really bad- despite what some are saying. lol@@alecverkuilen3920
Why is Q5 boring? Did you get the SQ5?
@@SCraig-Handsomethey said Q5… where in that did you see an S
You gonna do it bro?

@@kmotch nice man do u daily it or just a weekend car? and If u don't mind me asking u paying it off or leasing it?
@@BP_2869 it’s my daily and yeah I’m paying it off 👌🏻
$87,000 and there is no push button start? Am I correct, if so, what kind of car is this lol.
It would be nice if you explained what the three stalks and the upper controls are for.
My wife just picked up an S in Chalk w/ Bordeaux and Black interior today. Awesome car.
What is the colour ?
They nailed the exterior of this car! The interior however does seem outdated. A new ford lariat ultimate has as many or more features than this! Although it’s a beautiful suv.
The 360 camera is not standard. That's the Surround View option and it's $1200.

Does this have a mechanical gear shifter or an electronic gear shifter?
How does this motor compare to the Base Macan?
Much faster
To 35 mph.

Looks hot like I want one!
Will the new 2025 design support gas engine variants. If yes, which non electric variants?

Am I the only one noticing he went through a red light?
The Mayan you are driving does not have the full leather package. Having full leather makes the interior look even more luxurious.
Eh not really
Why so dirty? 😢. The only thing i dislike about the car is not having a digital display.
It kinda ugly design in the front look cheap car
So is your Corolla
Mildly interesting video. Not much info tho.
👎🏼
This guy gives the worst reviews ever. Talks way too fast.
U look Amish
Im glad you say Porsche and not Por-shuh
You’re not listening…
Too bad you’re one of many who don’t pronounce it the correct way, which is POOR SHA
Naa all digital is better
Nope
Looks very outdated for 2024, especially with a small touch screen at the front.
I wouldn't say outdated at all. Looks standard in a good way.
@@jonboll2066rather than outdated it might be called little changed from ten year old models
