What a way to open a show and set the mood. All the songs at this concert were written for the previous two vocalists. In this one, just like "Ever Dream", "She is My Sin" and many others, Tarja sung those high notes in head voice (she's an opera singer after all). Goddess chose to belt them, it's more challenging and more straining on the voice, but she likes it this way. Wat een vrouw...
That showopener was Floors "baptism by fire" to the big European nightwish fanbase, for shure there were some shows on the continent before Wacken but only for a 3 to 5k audiance.. Nightwish was the end of the whole festival,,,and Floor.... She was superb. She not only took the spectators in the palm of her hand from this first Song on, she closed her hand, held... and she only opened it after the end the show closer " Last ride of the day". As a dutchie you must be so proud.

If you want to understand the way he works you can watch "The making of Endless forms most Beatifull". There are about 15 short episodes. And you can make a reaction video for tha as well , if you like. Usually he has a demo tape for the bandmembers. Marko used to work with Tuomas on that. But bassically the music and lyrics are all there, written by Tuomas. And then the whole band is involved in the end result. The music tracks you here are also composed by Tuomas. He gets the help of Pip Williams, who assists in the translation to orchestral and choir scores.
