- In this video I show you how to knit the Garland Stitch, thanks to Debra Byers for helping me name this stitch. This stitch is beginner friendly and only a 4 row repeat. This stitch would be perfect for a wash cloth, placemat, scarf or even a blanket.

I love you videos! I think they are the easiest to follow!! God bless you!!✝️🙏🏻💝☘
It looks like a basket weave to me, that's what I thought at first glance! Very nice!
I love it! Pattern is beautiful!
Hi, I don't know what else you do with your amazing creativity, but you sure are in your groove with teaching on youtube! LOVE the idea of making a mat ... great for paintbrushes too ... for me I find this so feminine I want to dye some yarn and make a pair of delicate pink woolen socks in a fine yarn. Thanx so much.
Thank you what a simple stitch but it looks lovely ❤️
I don't know how to knit but u make it look easy so i might give it a try
Love this stitch. Can't wait to use it. The needle storage idea is cool. Great Christmas gift idea.
Oh, Charlotte, this would make a beautiful Scat (scarf and hat combo)!!!!

Very nice pattern. How about putting ribbon through the loops?
Lovely stitch. Can you please teach us lace patterns.
I have a question: can anyone tell me what row I am supposed to bind off? Is this after Row 4, or something else?
I’m using garland stitch to make a blanket for my sister in law, she will need it for after chemo sections...is there a way I can share a picture??
Screen shot the thumbnail with duapps recorder on your phone, or print screen on your computer, open in paint, save to file (or just use your phone camera to take a still picture of the PC screen.)
I found this easy but at the same time, awkward.. It's like I had to be really careful not to drop stitches..!
Where do you get the directions for this pattern that you can copy\
Write down her instructions for the 4 rows. Rinse, repeat.
How do you get the pattern that you can copy the pattern?
Just write down the instructions for the 4 rows. Rinse, repeat.
I'm not going to do a thumbs down, but this is not beginner friendly..I have never knitted before and I didn't understand anything you were doing..way to fast..I have been crocheting for 44 years, I guess I will just stick with crocheting..thank you!!!
April Hamilton I think you should practice the long tail cast on and the knit and Purl stitches. Then come back to this video. It will make sense to you then . It is very beginner friendly !! Good luck!
Thank you..I will try 🙂
April Hamilton it’s just like when you first learned to crochet. It’s a little confusing at first. Practice makes perfect or you will say “this is just not my thing”! But at least you will have tried!!

Looks very easy! Not to offend but would be nice if you would quit biting those fingernails!
I never saw her bite fingernails...............
She's a nervous type, let her be. She's married lol.
