    Just put in a Tractive rear shop to go along with Andreani Misano Fork Cartridges for my 2017 F700GS
    Bike feels completely different now. Far less squat and dive during accelerating and braking. Can't wait to take it off road.

    i should have ordered from you guys , ordered Tractive Extreme shock and fork drop in units for husky 901 from Konflict 5 weeks ago , original ETA was 3-4 weeks and as of last week it sounded like they didnt even have the parts yet but email responses only and generic group seeming at that with no specifics nobody answering phone , did business with them before about 5 years ago and had a good experience this time im not sure what the hell is going on , took the payment of course then almost zero correspondence since , they just disappeared apparently

    Hallo Ted, thank you for these video,s. I like and learn from them a lot. I have a 2006 bmw k1200 gt with esa 1 suspension. The strange thing is that since a few weeks there are no esa signals anymore on my dash. No helmets, no luggage and no soft ,comfort or sport. Whatever I try it is not coming back. I have deactived esa with motoscan and then reactivated it. That does not work also. Do you have any suggestions. I would-be very gratefull. Best regards from the netherlands.

    I have a 2005 R1200RT and can’t figure out how to adjust the ESA, my manual show how to adjust it only how to manually adjust it by hand in other words its not a ESA system that it’s showing, do you have a video on how to set up the ESA on this bike?

    Is it possible to change from ESA shocks to non-ESA Wilbers shocks e.g. stage 4 (rear) and stage 1 (front)?

    • @BeemerShop
      @BeemerShop  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes for the RT models up through 2013 this is possible.

    Great video Ted. I'm thinking about converting an '05 R1200RT to an adventure bike but would want to upgrade the suspension to provide more than the stock 4.5" inch-ish of travel. Any suggestions? I might give your company a call later today. Thanks for the share Ted.

      Hi Matt, the answer is complicated so we should talk by phone.

    Thanks Ted! Do the '05 - '09 R1200RTP bikes have the same problem? Or, just the civilian bikes?

    • @BeemerShop
      @BeemerShop  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Marcus! All of them with ESA over this '05-'09 time period can have this problem.

    • @BeemerShop
      @BeemerShop  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your questions Jason. Yes we sell manually adjustable Tractive shocks for the GS-LC with cancellation boxes so there will be no fault codes. We also sell reservoir and non-reservoir Tractive Dynamic Damping ESA shock upgrades for this model which maintains and improves the DDA ESA functionality. Give us a call or see our website at beemershop.com.

      BeemerShop hi there, I am from Turkey, and no chance of buying due to sgipping and tax problems. Can you tell me the voltage and amper values for testing the esa parts?

    • @tedporter58
      @tedporter58 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mesutyalcn3171 we use a special tool to actuate the rebound motors. You can check them on the bike, see this video: th-cam.com/video/5oy_vUTkWE4/w-d-xo.html To check the preload motor on the bike just run through your preload settings and watch the piston like in this video: th-cam.com/video/N5X0rZVrYWQ/w-d-xo.html

    If you happen to be in Istanbul, stop by MOTOSENKRON and have all the shock absorbers of BMW motorcycles repaired with a one-year warranty, very cheap 250 euros.

    • @BeemerShop
      @BeemerShop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry I just saw these questions. Yes we ship internationally, however I would contact Wilbers in Germany or Tractive in The Netherlands to see who handles their products closer to home. You want to have good after-sale support from a local supplier.

    Was going to buy a 2007 R1200RT with only 4,700 miles on it for $5,400. After watching this video.. NOT. Typical BMW CRAP! Bullet proof engine with over engineered shit surrounding it. Thanks for the heads up to pass on a BMW.

    • @BeemerShop
      @BeemerShop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ESA2 is way better, find a 2010 or newer. Or buy the 2007 if you like the bike and put manual shocks on it, it's no big deal.
