I hate the fake “Dragon ball fans”. First, an Energy blade is a thing in the dragon ball universe. Did Vegeta use one before? No, but I’d imagine he could. These dudes had Vegeta looking and acting cooler than the actual show. It’s fan made, this shit was amazing. They put love into this and took some creative twists. Goku (Son Goku) was inspired by Sun Wukong which is a Chinese deity. Hence why they made Goku’s power up like that. Also in the old episodes super saiyan had a more white tint to it like here. Wasn’t until the later episodes where it changed to more yellow. This shit was dope. I'm not even the biggest Dragon Ball fan or anything like that, i'm just sick seeing people trying their hardest to hate on this fan-made no budget creation. People like this deserve praise
The spirit sword is actually there. Vegito uses a Spirit Sword which we can assume he got from Vegeta considering Vegito primarily uses moves Vegeta does (Big Bang).

Compared to Frieza/Cell saga Vegeta, this Vegeta is a mature, hardened warrior, who yes, its prideful, but also wise and who does what he must to keep his people together. Remember back in the day when Vegeta got shook abt Broly then when he went to go fight him he took the fastest L in the whole movie? This animation is what happens when someone doesn't totally hate Vegeta and actually makes him a character with skill and not just bark about being a prince.

This is actual talent being witnessed, the more attraction that it gets the more it will evolve and turn into something greater. Gokus transformation is based off his original story by Akira-San, Sun Wukong Son Goku. The whole DB was inspired by Journey to the west.
