Cool, I have some new books to look up! Oh gosh my favorite book I read in 2024 besides James was Take My Hand by Dolen Perkins-Valdez, fabulous historical fiction that will make your blood boil. 🌻
I heard about your channel from Good Books Lately and I enjoyed this episode so much I went back and watched them all! I love that you read a variety of books and you make me want to read Frankenstein. New subscriber🥰
What an eclectic list. Lessons in Chemistry was one of my 5 star reads in 2024. But my favorite book of 2024 was An Unkindness of Ghosts by Rivers Solomon. The audiobook was awesome, but I fell in love with the book and had to buy it in print too.
Thanks for sharing your top 10! Always so interesting to hear what people take away from their favourite reads. I can't seem to escape recommendations for Tress of the Emerald Sea, I think I should finally give it a go! My favourite read last year was "This is Happiness" by Niall Williams. Gorgeous writing, enchanting setting and really moving story!
You are so welcome! Tress is great and has many interesting characters to keep it fun. (I forgot to mention that in the video.). Thank you for the book recommendation. I will add it to the list!
LOVE!!! So happy I found your channel! I have read most of these books and I loved them all! Thank you for providing quick, well-edited content with great spoiler-free reviews! Frankenstein's Monster has my heart! Definitely read the Green Mile soon if you want to get into more SK! I look forward to seeing more!!
Yay! I'm happy you're here! (And you have excellent taste in books, lol.) I'm looking forward to more Stephen King this year; thanks for the Green Mile recommendation!
