I have the solution to your problem: You can get translate app back by getting it out of your App drawer which is the last page you can slide to after your pages you can find it in the app drawer ,once you have found it in the app drawer you can hold down on it and press the button that says show on home screen if you want it to be on your home screen or you can stored in the app drawer so it doesn’t clutter your Home Screen. Also anything in the App Drawer can still be used well it’s in the App drawer. If it’s not in your app drawer then that means you 100% deleted it, and in this case you would have to search for it on the App Store and then download it back onto your device, but most likely it’s in your App Drawer.
Simply open up ur ( App Store ) then in the search type any app developed by apple like ( apple store ) when the app page opens click on the developer icon to get all of apple’s apps including the Translate app .
Translate for iOS is 14 is pretty bad if you are trying to translate a conversation with someone. It keeps stopping after a few words and you have to keep hitting the microphone button to keep listening.

Could you update on the delete option, if I'm running a conversation and find that I have a sting of chats sitting below the favorites and wish to zap/ delete them how would one do this I see your can right to left swipe it gives you the option to delete but found it did nothing the message stayed so besides canceling everything including favorites is there a way to get around this?
Official Esther don’t stress I got you fam. Go to any apple app in the App Store and click the name apple to get to their developer page in the App Store. Then scroll down to apps, and scroll through them until you find any of the missing apps. Hope this works for you
