No way... It is very easy to tell that otv is responsible. Rather to check why they tried so close for this rescue operation? Didn't they know, the flow of water is very high? When an elephant could get into this even if 1000kg then with a air boat could have saved the elephant and could have succeed? Odraf team is responsible for this mishap... You can watch the scene repeatedly to know the fact.
People out there telling current pulled them but there was nothing like that.
Had they been on a heavy tool this would not have had happened for sure.
Generally current attracts in deep sea or in sea area not in the dam.
I can say due to lack of proper idea and IQ they tried to get it done and they felt over confident and that's why they paid for it.

When you do such things you should have proper knowledge and proper information with you. Arvind thought its a easy process and full of adventures, while rescuing the elephant.
But he only thought of one side and didn't even take precaution for the second side... Which unfortunately he had to face and to pay.

It's all about less training... No precaution was taken before going inside... Atleast u should have to secure that Gemini boat as u r seeing there is a water current but u guys didn't. 2nd thing was boat was overloaded 3rd thing why a reporter will go inside as he has high zoom camera can take shots from anywhere..

The team is not expert with barrage technique . They should take the advice of the engineers of the barrage at time of rescue operation relating the current of water . Generally the current of water up to 200 meters from the barrage is very high .The rescue party should not come to this danger zone .Perhaps they are ignorant about it .Otherwise this type of tragedy wold not have been occured .

ପକୃତରେ ଅରବିନ୍ଦ ଦଉଡି ଧରି ଥିଲେ କିନ୍ତୁ ହୁଏତ ଦଉଡି ରେ ଗଣ୍ଠି ଟା ନ ଥିଲା ଦଉଡି ଧରି କି କିଛି ସମୟ ଯଦି ରହି ପାରିଥାନ୍ତେ ପାଣି କିଛି କରି ପାରି ନ ଥାନ୍ତା କାରଣ ଦଉଡି ଟା ଉପରୁ ଆସିଛି ।ଦଉଡି ଧରି ଉଠିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟାରେ ହାତ slip କରିଥିବ ଯାହାଫଳରେ ଆଉ ଦଉଡି ଧରି ପାରି ନଥିଲେ ।ଆଉ ଉପରୁ ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ମଧ୍ୟ ତଳକୁ ଓଲ୍ହାଇବାର ଚେଷ୍ଠା କରି ନ ଥିଲେ ସେମାନେ ଅଣ୍ଟାରେ ଦଉଡି ବାନ୍ଧି ତଳକୁ ଖସି ଥିଲେ ହୁଏତ ଅଘଟଣ ହୋଇ ନ ଥାନ୍ତା ।କେବଳ ରସି ଧରି ରହିଥାନ୍ତେ ପାଣି ସିନା ଜୋର ରେ ହଲାଇଥାନ୍ତା କିନ୍ତୁ ଲୋକଟି ର କିଛି ହୋଇ ନ ଥାନ୍ତା ।ଆକସ୍ମିକ ଅଘଟଣରେ ମୁଣ୍ଡ କାମ ଦେଇ ନ ଥାଏ ।
