Got the privilege to enter here about 3-4 years ago when the business class lounge was being renovated. What a lux exerience!

love that lounge; have not been in there since I flew QF First from SYD-DXB-LHR. Hopefully, when I fly SYD-HKG-ORD in March, I can visit with Emerald status. safe travels
@@jimbohr it never gets old despite being quite old. It has such a beautiful grandure and relaxed feeling.

@@liftoffandtravel I recall having something small and basic for breakfast to save room for the meals on the flights, which were delicious. ( the FA'S on the SYD-DXB segment were wonderful ) I have not tried the pavlova...yet......

@@liftoffandtravel when I have the layover in HKG, in March, 2025, I will prefer the CX Pier Lounge.
This is my local lounge! As a Qantas Platinum Frequent Flyer, I head to the Sydney First Lounge whenever I fly overseas. Heading to Singapore next month, so I will be enjoying that deconstructed pavlova with champagne soon! And a spa session!
Haha how does the spa work? Only been twice and it was either closed or fully booked.
The pavlova was delicious but I still enjoyed what I had.

Really nice video 🤩 We land from Auckland and need to fly on to Adelaide. Do you know if we can go to the first lounge when we land despite us flying from the domestic terminal later (emerald status)?
@@rasmusbj I don't think so. I believe this terminal is for international flights only.
The international terminal is T1 and domestic is from T3 which I think is the other side of the airport.
Are you flying back the same way in reverse?
Does it have some areas to have a nap?💤
@@dwiforex sadly not, closest thing to a nap area are those brown leather chairs but I'm not sure anyone could fall asleep in one.
