Hello and welcome to the channel. This week we are in Pattaya at Sintara lake (formally Mamak lake) on the East side of the city. Nice budget water, perfect for a couple of half day sessions with the chance of a common carp which was the target. The lake also hosts some cracking Mekong catfish to over 90lb and possibly bigger, Rohu carp to double figures and other nice fish. Its not heavily stocked so its easy to have some quiet sessions but for the 100 baht a rod price tag its the perfect lake to chuck a couple out, order a beer and have a vibe.
