not sure if anyone cares but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream all the new movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been streaming with my brother lately =)
What I absolutely love about the intro is earns the movie the name Star Wars. It's not some plucky rebels doing hit and runs, it's past the point of political deliberation, it's war! Full on, galactic scale war.

This theme for me encompasses the true essence of the clone wars. Grand, thunderous, sprawling and chaotic all at once. Clones and droids, jedi and sith all duking it out, with Palpatine behind it all. Brings me back to the og battlefront 2. We need a live actions clone wars movie now.
The drums at the beginning and seeing the Venator-Class Star Destroyer flying in ominously is the best thing about this score, especially with surround sound.

I can still remember being so excited for this movie in 2005. I remember sitting in the theater with the camera panning down to the Republic star destroyer with those drums booming off the walls and shaking the whole place. Best star wars opening of all the films.
Those Drums always signify the start or initiate of a battle between the Galactic Republic and Separatists. Battle over Coruscant theme is so underrated
I remember my 9 year old self being totally stunned and awestruck sitting in the theater listening to this the first time. Still happens 14 years later when I watch the movie again.
1:40 "Odd Ball, do you copy?" - "Yes, Red leader" - "Mark my position, follow me with your squadron" - "We're on your tail, general Kenobi, lock S-Foils in attack position"
“During the battle, General Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker took advantage of the opportunity we’d created, and rescued the Chancellor… Took all the credit too.” -Clone narrator, Battlefront 2
Hands down the best track from the movies! Binary Sunset, Duel of the Fates, and the Imperial March will always be classics, but Battle Over Coruscant is still my favourite
This battle. This scene. That one single shot. That was all I wanted in a star wars prequel. Hard and heavy, intense Clone wars action. Imagine if episode two, or one, had started at the beginning of the Clone war, and it had been all about that, instead of space politics and teen Jedi murder angst. Still hoping for a live action Clone wars movie. Between 2 and 3. Get on it, Disney.
TheOtherGuys2 Here's a fun fact: originally, the prequels were supposed to begin with the clone wars and expand its duration on about ten years. Unfortunately this idea, like many others that George had, were abandoned.
Politics are a huge part of the Star Wars Universe. If you do not like it, then you need to watch other saga. Twilight or Insurgent could be more for your simple tastes.
I love this opening, all you see is Obi Wan and Anakin flying against the Venator, and then you fly into absolute chaos. Coruacant is under attack. Tue Clone Wars is in its final climatic stage. The final push. The music is epic and just perfectly sets the entire thing up.
This battle, so many spaceships. IT WAS AWESOME. If you watched the old clone wars, at the end, general grievous captures the chancellor and we mace windu calling anakin and obi wan to action and in the final scene you see tiny specks looking like stars but once you get closer, it turns out to be hundreds of republic and separatist cruisers.
Funny story. I live in Vietnam and every morning, the school next to my studio apartment plays the drum like in this theme. I think of this theme eveytime I hear it 😂
This movie has the best music selection in the series. Starting with the best track I have ever heard, and then there is also pieces like Grievous's Theme, Republic Clone Army March. There are also some sick dual themes like Battle of the Heroes, and Duel of the Fates. Every song, especially Anakin's Betrayal conveys the perfect tone for the scene; none were picked for just sounding good.
@@haydenfowle7576 I didn't like Bad Batch. The Clone Wars helped both Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. As did the 2003 Clone Wars series and Star Wars Republic Commando which really helped Episode 2.

Agreed. Even the dialogue isn't as bad in some spots. I have respect for these films. Only horrible Star Wars films are The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and Solo Even Rogue One was really good.
