    I still can't figure missiles out. Launchers on fighters with anti missile missiles and sensor missiles are so brutal. I'm a guy that spent 3 hours designing my army. But missiles are so complicated. :/

      Amm's you want fast small missiles with small payloads, if any at all, and more armor. So as to impact and detonate the missiles payload and prevent being shot down by pdc systems. I think. It's been awhile since I've played and I forget alot of the mechanics. I'm actually about to load it up again to tinker with the ship designer.

    how do you got the deployment time to 3 days??? for me using 0.3 defaults back to 3 months.

    Hi Defran, I'm trying to follow along your playthrough so I can learn how to play the game but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get this "Ceti" Fuel Storage tech to add to my ships. All I get are the various Fuel Storage sizes. Was it something I was meant to unlock and just missed it? Would really appreciate some help with this, thanks!

      I explained it in a later video but, its actually just a renamed fighter fuel storage, I renamed it by mistake a while ago and i forgot about it, i fixed it by episode 5. Also I do not recommend watching this series for learning how to play, you can but I have purpose built series for this, specifically conventional starting steps remastered which you can find in my playlists.

    2070 in my game, still war with 2 npr, and i never use prototype or prototyping some ship design,,
    after watching this i now how to use prototype, thanks.

      prototyping is a really nice feature and its very important especially when you play a 20% RR or any low RR start

    Only thing I hate about c# is the blue back ground with white text.
    Find it hard to watch, compared to the old version

    If you tune down the research speed, wont you run out of minerals in the Solar system even faster?

      research speed does not effect mining speed so no, it may just mean i have to stay in sol a little longer than normal.

      Yea they arent i was just using that term to refer to its fuel efficiency since am using a commercial level efficiency drive for the fighter

      @@DefranStrategy make a Jedi hypersled. A bare Bones single fighter capacity commercial drive sled. With enough fuel for a few fighter refills, and maintenance supplies for a few refits. It's way more effective then trying to design efficient fighters.
      I had one that went 900 (mph? I forget the system used for speed been awhile) while my fighter went 2-3k mph. It was a low tech fighter.
      The sled could make round trips to Pluto and back, had 4 Fighter refuels, 2 refits. It was infinitely cheaper to keep fuel costs down with high efficiency commercial sleds coupled with high performance fighter drives then trying to get fighters capable of going the distance. Especially with no infrastructure in place.
      It worked well until my gas/awac mining station/ships could get into position in the solar system for intra/outer solar expansion.
      After the gas station ships were in place the sleds were used for long range patrols with my bsg raptor inspired awac fighters.
      Making stuff is fun, blowing stuff up is funner. Lol
      You also got a like and sub. Great stuff.
